One for all and all for one!
Welcome to all Lovers of Heroes of Might and Magic III!
My co-host had the idea to hold a team tournament, but one that differs from the standard approaches we've encountered; we began developing the theme and decided to hold a tournament in pairs. All specifics of the tournament are listed below. The regulations have not yet been determined; they will depend on the number of players.
- This is a tournament with a fairly complex system and does not claim to be "quick," so if you're just dropping in for a month or two, please pass by this tournament. Registration continues until August 11, 2012.
- Players who have a ban on HeroesWorld do not participate in the tournament.
- Persons registered on HeroesWorld after May 31, 2012, will not be accepted into the tournament (exceptions may be players registered on HeroesWorld with a login used on other resources and reviews of this player must be positive). In these or any other situations, the decision to admit someone to the tournament remains with the tournament organizers. Newcomers without a history will not be accepted.
- If irresolvable own disputes arise, DO NOT QUARREL among yourselves — contact the judging panel. Treat the judges' decisions with understanding; their decision is final and non-appealable.
During registration for the tournament, any player has the right to place a VETO on 1 template or group of templates (from 1 to 13)! That is, in the confrontation, your opponent, having the right to choose three templates, will not be able to include the template "banned" by you in their list of three!
After the initial announcement of the VETO in this thread, it will NOT be possible to change it later.
In the final, the same VETO right is exhausted!
Anyone wishing to participate in the tournament must leave their ICQ number. Applications such as "this evening in WT chat" or "always on the forum" will not be considered.
A Skype conference has been created for those participating in the tournament; every participant can join. To do this, contact the organizers via ICQ or Skype

All reports will go into the seasonal rating ►
Reports of games on the anarchy template played in August will go into the "Spring/Summer – 2012" Anarchy Season on HeroesWorld among players registered there. ►
Game Rules:
1. After the registration of all interested parties for the tournament is complete (registration time is not yet limited), depending on the number of players, team captains will need to be determined.
The number of captains will be announced, and who they become will later be decided by a created poll for selecting team captains. You will need to write a list of players who fall into the 1st basket (excluding yourself). The 1st basket is the captains' basket!
For example:
if 48 players registered, there will be 16 players in three baskets. We will determine the 2nd and 3rd baskets without voting, together with the judges.
2. After the distribution of captains, a blind draw of the baskets will begin.
3. After determining the team compositions, teams must agree on a team name (names should not indicate affiliation with any internet resource, as these are not national teams but something like club affiliations; so just name your club). A name can be thought of during registration, but don't say it out loud to others :), and when the composition is determined, discuss it with each other and quickly choose an option. The name Dynamo2 will not be accepted if Dynamo already exists.
Since it's unlikely that all captains can be gathered at one time, each team captain must, as soon as possible after the basket draw, create a list indicating the priority of choosing players from the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. baskets.
Example:
Captain_X is 10th in the queue of captains; when it's Captain_X's turn to choose, the player from the basket with the highest seed in their list joins their team.
4. There may be an odd number of players, as well as a fair number of unwanted players. These players will be randomly distributed into teams as substitutes, if these players do not object to substitute status.
- A substitute player can play for any player in any game, not only if a core player is unable to play on time for various reasons, but also specifically if, for example, they have good stats against the opponent or their favorite templates are disliked by the opponent.
- During a team encounter, Blue first names whether they play or a substitute plays.
5. To avoid withdrawals from the tournament, a small responsibility is placed on captains and the withdrawing player to find a replacement; if a captain withdraws, the team must look for a new captain; if that also fails, talk to the captains of other teams so they can give you a substitute player.
- Upon receiving a new player in place of one who left, the tournament organizers redistribute the seeding in the baskets of this group at their discretion.
6. Transfers. After determining team compositions, there will be 3 days for exchanging players between teams. A transfer will only be possible with the mutual consent of the captain and the exchanged player from both sides in each team. Captains cannot change teams. Each team will be allowed to exchange only one player!
7. After resolving all pre-start hassles, we determine the tournament regulations, but team battles will be conducted according to the following principle:
- When two teams meet (for example, a team composition of 3 people including the captain), one will be marked red and the other blue.
- Within the team, players are figuratively also marked by colors by the following analogy:
Example:
Team_1 (red) vs (blue) Team_2
Captain - Player 1 (red) vs (blue) Player 1 - Captain
Player 2 (blue) vs (red) Player 2
Player 3 (red) vs (blue) Player 3
- In all matches, captains will play against captains, players of the 2nd basket against players of the 2nd basket, from the 3rd with the 3rd, and so on. In this way, we will get interesting games in most matches, an interesting struggle, and the value of victory for less skilled players will be as high as that for TOPs.
- In the playoffs, in case of a tie in the confrontation (1 win each and a draw), an additional and deciding game between them is played by the team captains.
8. Restarts total 3 days ( 111+111+111 or 111+112 or 113).
Color in the draw tables — for all generations. No change of colors after each SUBJECTIVE restart.
9. Any changes to the game rules are allowed by mutual consent of the players, except for Fair Play rules.
10. Game version SoD 3.2 (4.0) +HDmod(better download version 2.95 or 2.98) or by mutual consent WT, TE or TE Lite. Turn time for each template is different and can be changed by mutual agreement.
11. Before starting each tournament game, to avoid misunderstandings, do not be lazy to check the 1st post of the thread, meaning this one, as there may be some changes and corrections.
This method of starting a game on a particular template will contribute to the general broadening of many players' horizons; it's time to stop playing on the same template and become more versatile!
So, there will be a choice from 13 templates or their groups:
1. 2sm4d(3)
2. Balance of choice (M 200%, M+U 160%, L 160%, L+U 160%, XL 160%) M is played on 4 minutes, others on 6
3. Panic
4. Ёлка
5. Spider
6. Mini Nostalgia or Nostalgia
7. 6LM10 or 6LM10a
8. 8MM6 or 8MM6a
9. 8xm12 or 8xm12a
10. 8xm8a
11. diamond
12. Jebus Cross
13. Anarchy
- When both opponents are known, Red chooses 3 templates from the above 13 template groups "to their taste"; choosing 2 or more templates from one group is not allowed! Blue then chooses from these three the one on which the game and color will be decided.
- The choice of castles and heroes is random; it is permitted to choose a starting bonus (artifact, resource, gold).
Rules for 2SM4d(3) completely coincide with the rules for online games in Heroes III and the seasonal Rating tournament; the only difference is in restarts, as the currently adopted system has not yet been tested and is new on HW.

a) Head-to-head matches between teams.
