Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Succession Wars took everything the first game did and refined it into a classic. Six colourful factions, a branching campaign, secondary skills and a hand-painted, storybook art style gave it a character all its own.
For many longtime fans it is still the purest expression of the early series' charm.
