1. Games in the playoffs are played until one team wins two TEAM matches (final is best of three) against another team. Each individual player in the playoff bracket is marked with a corresponding color for the first game, which indicates who starts choosing templates! In the second game, players switch selection rights.
2. Each individual match between teams is considered complete when two players from one of the teams win against their opponents. A third game is not mandatory (it counts towards the season rating).
3. In playoff matches, as well as in the group stage, games are played according to the seeding principle:
- Player from the 1st seed (captain) of one team plays against the player from the 1st seed (captain) of the opposing team.
- Player from the 2nd seed of one team plays against the player from the 2nd seed of the opposing team.
- Player from the 3rd seed of one team plays against the player from the 3rd seed of the opposing team.
4. In case of a tie after two games (1-1), a third game is played according to the following analogy:
- Templates that both players have vetoed are removed. If the players' vetos coincide, then only one template is removed!
- Players then take turns removing templates until only one template remains on which the game will be played. The player from the team marked in BLUE in the matchup table in the playoff bracket starts the removal process (regardless of the player's own color).
- The starting color for the first generation corresponds to the colors of the players in the table!
- AFTER EACH SUBJECTIVE RESTART, COLORS ARE SWITCHED (only relevant for the third game).
"System of Agreements Between Players Within Tournament Rules"[/U]" (Max's Agreement):
1. Agreement for a Game: After the tournament organizer publishes the post (as soon as possible, and I will introduce a "5-day rule" for the next tournament), players must find out from each other on what days and at what time they can play, describe time intervals, etc. Informative communication is welcome.
2. Dates of Games and Rematches:.
2.1 It is necessary to agree on a game on a specific day at a specific time. Also, in case of unforeseen circumstances, it is necessary to agree on a time for a rematch (or replaying the match).
There are situations where one player has a lot of time for games, while the opponent has very little. One player constantly writes to the other with suggestions to play at an inconvenient time for the second player. Then this active player says that he wrote many times, but in that one instance when his opponent could, he was not available. All spontaneous proposals to play (without prior discussion and agreement on a specific day) are not taken into account against the less active player as a condemning factor, but if a player does not respond at all, then activity will be considered when making decisions.
2.2 If one player can say their approximate time for games, and the other cannot, then the first must name a time, and the second must adjust! If adjustment is impossible immediately during negotiations, this must be reported to the organizer and judges. If this message arrives at the end of the deadline for the game, and the organizer and judges do not find (for any reason) a solution, then the adjusting party receives a technical defeat.
2.3 If both players cannot specify the exact time for the game in advance, they must indicate the reasons why it is impossible to agree on a specific time. These situations are considered individually, but those who do not contact the organizers/judges are considered the passive side of the competing players, which will be taken into account when making a decision.
2.4 In case the players or one of the players does not know how to proceed or how to find time for the game (taking into account personal communication), they should contact the tournament organizers or judges with a complete log of messages during the negotiation process. Based on this, a date for the game will be set. The interpretation of messages by the organizers/judges will be the only correct one. Disagreement may be challenged only by bringing the matter before the Appeals Committee.
2.4.1 Players who do not have time to finish their games within the allotted time must report the reasons in the forum thread in as much detail as possible, at least 24 hours before the deadline. Any means of notification should be used (including through other players).
It is mandatory to include information from sections 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3 of this agreement.
2.4.2 Failure to notify is regarded as a refusal to inform (negligence, as an aggravating factor). A technical result is awarded.
2.4.3 An exception to subparagraph 2.4.2 is when the game is saved. The last chance to finish the game will be the MANDATORY date established by the organizer when distributing the stage of the tournament. Failure to appear on the rematch date will be considered a technical defeat regardless of the history of negotiations about the game, unless it previously resulted in a technical result being assigned.
2.4.4 The established mandatory rematch date comes into effect if the players fulfill points 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4
- The mandatory rematch takes place on the day appointed by the organizer.
