gold mine
Posts from RTF is a global modification that replaces all towns in the game.
Do we need Ashan?
In my humble opinion, the mine turned out not so well (this is, of course, not a complaint against Wizard Necromancer, who did quite a good job with it from Heroes 7). The reason is simple: piles of ore look exactly like static stones used for decoration and as obstacles.

It’s better to leave the original resources and mines! Down with all that dragon ore and other stuff!
An interesting question. It should have been asked before the change. Why replace the classic mercury, sulfur, gems, and crystals with colorful dragon tales, especially when this change has no impact on the gameplay? Does anyone really need this, or did the authors just feel like it – a copy-paste from game 7? Dragon blood and stardust silver are somewhat pompous, but they still have an adequate form (blood and silver). The same cannot be said about twilight/dragon steel; the names are a definite failure, especially in terms of gameplay – it's very inconvenient to use.

Dragon Blood and Star Silver may sound pretentious, but they still have a reasonable form (blood and silver). The same cannot be said about Twilight/Dragon Steel; the names are a definite failure, especially in terms of gameplay – they are very inconvenient to use.

So, you mainly didn't like it because of the two types of steel? Well, you could rename, for example, Dusk Steel to something like Obsidian.
This is needed to make the requirements for buildings more logical. Sometimes it's unclear why certain resources are needed in a particular building. For example, why are crystals needed to upgrade a building where Knights (forgot the name) are recruited? But something like Dragon Steel could be used to reinforce the building, etc.
Regarding the logic, in the case of the Knights, it's not just an upgrade, but an upgrade that switches to a magical branch (Paladin), hence the requirement for crystals. Rare resources like mercury, sulfur, crystals, and gems can find logical applications if used with creatures or buildings that are related to magic.
Do you need crystals to upgrade the building where you recruit Knights (forgot the name)?
Is it okay? Should I upload the mod myself?
