An interesting question. It should have been asked before the change was made. Why replace the classic mercury, sulfur, gems, and crystals with colorful dragon tales, especially when this change has no impact on the gameplay? Does anyone really need this, or did the developers just feel like it – copying from game 7? Dragon blood and star silver may sound grandiose, but they still have an adequate form (blood and silver). The same cannot be said for twilight/dragon steel; the names are a definite failure, especially in terms of gameplay – it's very inconvenient to use.
