Move all the contents of the maps folder to another location and start the mission again. I had the same problem.

I used auto-battle; the losses were 1 goblin, while the enemy lost 3 titans, 6 colossi, and 200 water elementals.

So, I completed this mission, spent some time tweaking the mentor's skills, and spent about 30 minutes reallocating skills to achieve the desired balance. In the end, my Kujin now looks like this:

There's a bug with Barbarian Luck; it always reduces it by 5%, making it a useless skill. The Orc doesn't gain much benefit from Soldier's Luck either. I didn't take Luck and instead focused on Education and Fire Fury. The Orc has a bug where Education doesn't reset, and the bonus stats remain, so I didn't want to exploit that bug, and I also enjoyed leveling up Bloodlust to level 3. The attack itself gives a small bonus, so you can leave it at a developed level. It's useful to max out Defense and take Endurance. Instead of Weakness to Darkness, take Hold Darkness. Strength Against Magic isn't a very strong ability; you can skip it. That's the ideal build. In general, Kujin defeats the final battle quite easily; I just don't understand why so many people have problems with it.

I thought for a long time about whether to take "Soldier's Luck" or not, and decided to take it because I rarely take it at all, so let it be. Regarding education, yes, I noticed. I wanted to keep the attack at a medium level, but it didn't work out; the skills were randomly assigned in such a way that you either take attack or another useless skill, so it's better to take attack. Besides, we are playing as a swordmaster. The same thing happened with "Darkness Mastery"; I also didn't have enough experience points for everything I wanted, so I maxed out "Darkness Mastery" and took "Darkness Weakness," as suggested in a walkthrough. I also couldn't achieve a balance with defense; if I upgraded it, then "Battle Fury" wouldn't be fully upgraded. By the way, it's better to have an expert level in attack for "Battle Fury." Then, if the troops have +3 morale, they receive a 15% bonus to attack from "Battle Fury" + 15% from the expert attack skill.

Barbarian Luck reduces magic damage by 5%, regardless of the Luck stat.
