The Vampires should have been given one tier upgrade to pure creatures, like the Wyverns from the fifth game.

New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?

And it's not like it doesn't matter to someone about all sorts of silly minor holidays; I'm still surprised...
Regarding the underpowered nature of the ghosts' ability – if it's classic 100% vampirism, then, on the contrary, for a low-tier unit, it's very, very strong; it's a no-brainer way to attack without losses. In general, the undead seem to be a faction that can very easily replenish its numbers, and they roll over neutrals like a steamroller, especially if they also have classic undead abilities; we'll see if they get banned in PvP.
Vampires should have been given one upgrade as pure animals, like the wyverns from the fifth game.

I assume that the Discord server mainly consists of fans. Honestly, I don't really understand all the hype and enthusiasm surrounding the project. Yes, they're reviving the Heroes series, which is cool, but are people really so desperate that even this is a huge hit?
Mobile gaming has long been at the forefront. If an old-school developer makes a great port, they'll at least make a decent amount of money from fans who like to play on the go.
Well, hoping that the game will become a tactical Dota, League of Legends, etc. in the world of esports is, of course, appealing, but whether the developer can handle it, time will tell.
yeah, a statue is kind of weird, or too epic; on the other hand, this thing is at least memorable, the ziggurats from 6 and 7 are dull, and the fifth-gen spires will look bad in 2D imho
the problem here is that in 3 the fort was the face of the town, but here the fort is just a wall in the background; eh, the era of grim castles is gone(((
The 3-players are definitely out. They'll continue to gather dust until they die out rather than switch to another game. When they found out there would be a unit turn order initiative, they muttered something and slammed the door loud. So targeting them or the 2-players is not an option at all. Those who develop the game (2 and 3), it's just interesting for them, they're involved, well, and they pay money. That leaves the 5-players and everyone else. The situation with the 5-players is roughly the same. Everyone else and the youth remain. That's who should be emphasized for the most part, not the dinosaurs.
Mobile gaming has long been at the forefront. If an old-school developer makes a great port, they'll at least rake in some cash from people who like to play on the toilet. Now, expecting the game to become a tactical Dota, LoL etc. in the world of esports is certainly attractive, but whether a developer can pull that off, time will tell.
The fans of the third game are definitely out. They will continue to gather dust until they die out, rather than switch to another game. When they learned about the initiative regarding turn order for units, they mumbled something and slammed the door loudly. So, relying on them and the fans of the second game is not an option at all. Those who develop the game (the second and third games) are simply interested in it, they are involved, and they are also getting paid. That leaves the fifth game and everything else. The situation with the fifth game is approximately the same. That leaves all the others and the newcomers. It is on them, for the most part, that we should focus, and not on the dinosaurs.
There are so many similar games that it is more of a mainstream than an avant-garde.
As a player who easily enjoyed the fifth installment after playing the third, and who honestly tried to appreciate the seventh (even finding a couple of minor positives), I completely disagree with everything. Players who are so fanatical about their favorite game that they are unwilling to accept anything else under any circumstances are a minority. They may be loud and active due to their participation in gatherings and tournaments, but they are still a minority.
You need to focus on the fans. It's also useful to attract younger players to replenish the ranks, but if the old, die-hard fans are extremely unhappy (and for this purpose, fans of 2, 3, 4, and 5 unite), then the chances of creating something truly popular are near zero. Simply because this is an indicator of quality. And this is the reason. It will simply be lost in the sea of mediocrity... The fact that some mobile games make a lot of money doesn't guarantee that any mobile game or pseudo-mobile game will do the same.
