Today (or rather, yesterday evening) I found some time to try the new version of the first mission (I've been very busy lately).
In my opinion, this time you seem to have gone too far – now you can complete the mission with the "hero" with almost no losses (the save is attached); I also managed to accumulate almost as much power as last time (advanced peasants don't count; they weren't there last time – perhaps that was your intention this time, and they only helped by stepping on the corpses of ghosts and preventing them from being resurrected).
And, of course, the hero leveled up to the maximum by the time Graham arrived and became three levels stronger.

I knew I would overdo it :) (but I did it so that it would be possible to complete the mission without any problems; I am interested in testing the rest of the missions with the "hero" difficulty... I want to extend the storyline over time, and for this, I need to completely finish this one). Now, reaching the optimal balance with the army is much easier:smile01:

Army adjustments in the first mission (increased the number of units on all difficulties by 15%) (thank you, Rambo1969, for the test)
Aricus is now given the freedom to choose a high-level stack of creatures (second mission (several variations of his army for variety and unpredictability))
The hero's leveling speed on "hero" difficulty has been reduced by 20%, and on other difficulties, it has been increased by 20%.
