You don't need to kill the dwarf; he's needed for the background in the dungeon. The main task is to destroy the mage's main castle. The Titan is currently just for show (like a monument). I wanted to incorporate him somehow, but I decided against it because there's already too much going on in the map. Regarding the phoenixes, it's random; it just happened that way. Phoenixes don't always appear (by the time you attack, all the elemental mages should have gathered their army from the valley, which is quite a few dozen genies, 3-4 dozen upgraded mages, and some smaller stacks; with this, you can defeat the phoenixes).
If you played the first version of the map, then yes, the scenario completion didn't work as it should; this has now been fixed.
