Basically, when you use the Dominate spell on enemy creatures belonging to a Dwarf hero, and then try to use the Rune of War, an error occurs in the game console. Here's a screenshot:

I cast Dominate on the Trolls, used the Rune, but the attack didn't happen. The Troll just slightly "twitched" its hand, but didn't attack. The turn was skipped, and the Rune was marked as used. This doesn't seem to happen with other Runes.
Game version 3.0. I can't update to 3.1 because it says the game is not installed.

The error in the console is related only to the effect (the same situation occurs with divine power).
And this bug is indeed related to the subjugation. Under the effect of the Rune of Battle Fury, a subjugated creature will attack its primary enemies (the side of the hero who subjugated it), and if they are absent, it will attack no one.

This only happens when subjection is involved. The game was downloaded from the internet, so the publisher is likely Nival. So, is this a bug?

RedHaven clarified it more precisely... In short, you don't need to do anything; just don't use the Rune of Wrath after subduing a creature if you don't want to harm your own units.
