I would personally shake the hand of everyone who was involved in introducing this ban. There is no discomfort from it, quite the opposite. They could even lower it to 8 PM; they'll drink earlier, and go to bed earlier. :)
Весна 2012.
New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
I would personally shake the hand of everyone who was involved in introducing this ban. There is no discomfort from it, quite the opposite. They could even lower it to 8 PM; they'll drink earlier, and go to bed earlier. :)
But what about "a person, their life, and their health are the highest value for the state"?
And then, if during or after being drunk, you feel like doing something heroic (which happens in most cases), and you do something? Then it will no longer be your personal business.
I completely agree about the discomfort; they sold it after 10 pm before, and they still do, and they will continue to do so, and no law matters to anyone – this is Russia :D
This is what crime prevention looks like in action.
So, what has changed after the introduction of this "prevention measure"? Are there fewer instances of uncivilized behavior? I doubt it. Are there fewer alcoholics? I don't think so. All of this is useless because the root of the problem isn't alcohol, but the people themselves.
There is definitely less uncivilized behavior.
Don't forget that under certain conditions, almost everyone turns into an uncivilized person.
I personally tried to buy it a couple of times – they wouldn't sell it under any circumstances. Even in a familiar store – they don't sell it, and now they're really cracking down on the sellers because the fines are huge.
At "red and white" stores, they sometimes even ask for my ID, and I'm almost 30 years old. :)
It's simpler than that – a boor will always remain a boor, whether drunk or sober. A reasonable person maintains self-control whether drunk or sober. Alcohol simply reveals a person's true nature. And if, under the influence of alcohol, a person's true nature is revealed to be unpleasant, it will sooner or later emerge even without alcohol.
Where did you get this information? Personally, I don't notice any progress in the public's awareness.
It's simpler – a boor will always remain a boor, whether he's drunk or not. And an adequate person maintains self-control whether drunk or sober. Alcohol simply reveals a person's true nature. And if something nasty comes out of a person under the influence of alcohol, it will sooner or later come out even without it.
That's strange, I've been living in St. Petersburg recently, I don't have any acquaintances who are sellers, but there are a couple of "problem-free" stores right near my house, and not just near my house...
Not every time, of course, but I'm sure everyone can recall instances where they felt ashamed of their actions the next morning.
Ihitandr, you're talking nonsense.
