New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
Actually, I think there should also be a timer for playing against another player in Online Battles.
Write what timers, in your opinion, should be used.
A tower with a library and a Necromancer is generally stronger than any castle that also has a Necromancer, on Hero Level Plus.
Of course, I was talking about the XL+U templates, of which there are аж 4.
your message gave me an idea, because particularly principled players saving time, and those who think 150 rubles a month is pocket change - they can create a second account, pay for it and give it to their opponents to play with.
Though personally, I think that with OH there should also be a different timer for the game.
I honestly studied the statistics of recent tournaments and the popularity trends of different map templates, and before settling on this option, I personally double-checked that these 11 are the best available in the SoD.
I don't think this is right. If an opponent tells me that owning an expansion pack is expensive for them and the issue is purely about money (who knows what situation a person is in), then I'm willing to buy it for them. But if an opponent starts making excuses and coming up with reasons, but is willing to play with the expansion pack at someone else's expense, then I'm fundamentally not willing to help or accommodate them.
If an opponent tells me that owning an "Overlord's eXpansion" is too expensive for them and the issue is purely financial (given that everyone has different circumstances), I'm willing to buy it for them.
actually, it's the opposite: in a tournament where OH is not mandatory, the one who agrees to play with OH, even if it's at their own expense, is making the concession. And when the opponent later says something like, "So you're willing to play at someone else's expense," there's no need to make concessions to such people.
... in percentage terms, roughly 90% of users play with SoD.
The fact that OH has not yet been introduced by default in SoD Tournaments is not just a large, but a huge concession to those who do not want to play OH. After reading posts like this, there is a desire to write it into the rules immediately. Because in percentage terms, off the top of my head, about 90% of users play with OH.
I think this is a gross mistake based on my own opinion and the opinions of my circle of friends.
I would like to see the source of information.
According to my estimates (also just an estimate), if we only consider SoD, the ratio should be closer to the golden mean ~62/38,
it may be higher for Rampart, but the chance that it will be more than 75% for Rampart is extremely small.
My source of information is that very topic with voting and discussions in private messages,
based on which I can confidently say that even among the list of contenders for the winners' bracket, not one Dima Surmay prefers to play without Rampart; there are even top players who would prefer to play without Rampart, but they don't want to publicize their real position.
If you think this is a huge concession on your part, has anyone ever thanked you for it? I think if something like this happened, it was probably only a few times, and these are the ones you could pay off to use Rampart.
And others shouldn't do favors if they aren't asked. Because they believe they have the right to play without Rampart.
