I think this is a rough error based on your own opinion and the opinions of your social circle.
I would like to see the source of information.
According to my estimates (also approximate), if we only consider SoD, the proportion should be closer to the golden mean, about ~62/38.
It may be higher for SoD, but the chance that it's more than 75% is very small.
My source of information is that topic with the poll and discussions in private messages.
Based on them, I can confidently say that even among the list of contenders for the winners' bracket, not one Dima Surmey prefers to play without SoD; there are even top players who would prefer to play without SoD but don't want to publicize their real position
