Well, perhaps I'll post my setting option now as well. Just so there are more to choose from. This is no longer a rough sketch, but even an alpha version, I suppose. I've already shown it to a few people :) I decided to keep the names for a greater sense of individuality.
So
The Dark Age
Description: The year is 2050. After a terrible cataclysm caused by an unknown virus, the world has fallen into decay. Chaos reigns everywhere. In effect, the world has split into several large regions, each ruled by a powerful corporation. Most cities are in a semi-ruined state. Famine and outbreaks of various epidemics are widespread; crime levels exceed all permissible limits. The only value is money—the era of its reign has finally arrived. Everything else: kindness, mercy, friendship, love—are but pitiful remnants of years gone by.
The game takes place in a new Europe, in a semi-ruined Paris. Control over this area is held by the "
Neolife" corporation, whose headquarters are located right in the city. For the most part, Paris consists of dark slums where the poor huddle. There are also three more or less well-maintained districts where the middle and upper classes live.
The game features 3 groups that are unique relative to each other:
The Rulers,
The Underground, and
The Illuminati.
The Rulers strive to maintain their dominance and suppress any resistance.
The Underground attempts to stage a coup and overthrow the ruling regime. Once, they wanted to unite with the Illuminati, but realizing that the latter were merely using them, they rose up against them.
The Illuminati strive to seize power and rule by an invisible hand.
The Underground and the Illuminati have 2 NAs each, and any kind. That is, the Underground can kill twice in 1 night, but only in a combination of poor + Gladish\Serge.Regarding clues, in this case they will be given not only for kills, but also for
recruiting Cherevye and
checking\recruiting Gibbons. Clues for the latter will not be very obvious, especially at the beginning. For Eber, clues will generally only be issued for his
2nd case (i.e., there will be no clues for the first kill), but 100% of the clues for Eber will relate directly to him.
The Illuminati receive such privileges because if Eber, Gibbons, and Cherevye perish, then the Illuminati lose regardless of the number of recruited members at that time or whether Volontido is alive.
General NA order is as follows:
1)Gibbons checks status
2)Serge blocks a character
3)Vincho checks status
4)Grotheric's people check status
5)Doherty sends a protective or observation bot
6)Grotheric sends a squad for blocking or protection
7)recruits Cherevye
8)Vincho removes Geler's protection
9)Serge kills
10)Eber kills
11)poor kills
12)Gladish kills
13)Bishop resurrects
The Rulers :Ernesto Geler - head of the "Neolife" corporation. He is a 60-year-old half-cyborg. Ernesto is domineering, calculating, and ruthless. For 30 years he has solely headed the corporation and, as it seems to him, rules the rest of the world as well.
Features: his role is known from the start of the game. He cannot be killed on the first night. During the second night, he possesses 75% protection and inevitably kills the attacker. On the third night, the effectiveness of the protection drops to 50%. On the 4th night, Ernesto loses the ability to kill the attacker. Also, his vote is valued as two.
NA: none
Weapon: rapid-fire pistol, 8 mm caliber.
Status: good
Grotheric – head of security for the "Neolife" corporation. Like Geler, he is a half-cyborg. A rather gloomy personality who loves to weave intrigues and shroud everything in a veil of mystery.
Features: Grotheric possesses extensive connections, control, and power, and therefore his set of capabilities is quite broad. He can send a squad of fighters to a specific character, thereby blocking their NA for the night; he can use that same squad of fighters to provide protection to any chosen character (the attacker will not die); or Grotheric's fighters can check one of the characters. Any of Grotheric's possible actions are carried out even if he himself is killed during that night.
NA: blocks, protects, or checks the status of a chosen character.
Weapon: 9 mm pistol
Status: good
Londa Bishop – a talented young scientist. Londa decided to maintain a fully human appearance and did not resort to nanotechnology and cybermedicine—meaning she is an ordinary human. Bishop is a kind, responsive girl; she sees no difference between the rich and the poor and is therefore ready to help anyone in need.
Features: none
NA: resurrects a killed character
Weapon: none
Status: good
Alfred Doherty – a young half-cyborg inventor. In childhood, he lost both legs, but his noble origin allowed him to pay for an operation to replace the lost limbs with implants. After this, Doherty decided to dedicate himself to science and now works tirelessly on various inventions for the good of society. At night, however, he loves to test his inventions.
Features: He can monitor a chosen character or guard them without leaving his home. If both Doherty and the character he is guarding are targeted for death on the same night, the protection does not work (no one to operate the security bot) (this also applies if Doherty is resurrected at the end of the night).
NA: monitors a chosen target or protects them (bot kills the attacker).
Weapon: the character has no weapon. The security bot is armed with a small-caliber machine gun.
Status: good
Vincho Clock – a truly gloomy personality. He is malicious, greedy, and damn cunning. For several years he has sought to take Geler's place, but for now, he can only wait humbly. At the moment, Vincho serves as a sort of spy for the corporation.
Features: Starting from the 2nd night, Clock can remove Geler's protection. If Geler is killed (with or without Vincho's help), Clock will take his place. His vote will be valued as two; he will remain unknown, but he will have no protection.
NA: status check or blocking Geler's protection.
Weapon: none
Status: bad
Gordon Toms – a millionaire who heads the "Neolife" nanotechnology research department. But he is as far from science as a cockroach is from flying—he cares only about the amount of money in his own accounts.
Features: When Toms tries to kill a poor person, they "buy" their life; i.e., the poor cannot kill Toms.
NA: None
Weapon: None
Status: good
Sidney Pondels - a 46-year-old columnist for a local newspaper. This man has seen much in his lifetime and is hard to surprise. At night, he collects information about various characters.
Features: his NA does not appear in reports.
NA: compares the statuses of two chosen characters for similarity
Weapon: none
Status: good
Ludwik Stegerti - a young and extremely callous man. He loves to weave intrigues and conspiracies, as well as distort facts.
Features: during the day, after 12 hours have passed, he can take 1 vote from any living player who has not yet voted at that moment. The latter thus loses the right to vote on that day.
NA: none
Weapon: none
Status: bad
Officials – rich, influential people. But other than money, they are unremarkable.
Features: none

Features: Thanks to his cover, he ignores protection set by Grotheric.
NA: kill
Weapon: 9 mm pistol
Status: good
Daphne Serge – a young and ambitious lady who holy hates the corporation. She is skilled with cold weapons and possesses very beautiful looks.
Features: silent kill - she is not noticed by an observer.
NA: kill or block a character
Weapon: a pair of short blades
Status: bad
The Poor – impoverished, broken people who have sworn to avenge all their troubles on the corporation.
Features: none
NA: kill
Weapon: 9 mm pistol

The Illuminati:Samuel Gibbons – secret leader of the group. He is a wise, well-read man who has seen much in this world and decided to change it.
Features: thanks to extensive connections, he is able to learn a character's role in more detail. He does not act personally. He learns not only the status of a character but also their affiliation with one of the two groups. After Cherevye's death, he loses the ability to check statuses and engages only in recruitment (if he hits Grotheric or Gladish, he dies).
NA: character status check\recruitment (only after Cherevye's death)
Weapon: None
Status: good
Moses Eber – a half-cyborg, experienced killer. He does all the dirty work for the Illuminati. He is very skilled in his profession, largely due to modifications he made to himself.
Features: Ignores any protections except "Geler's".
NA: kill
Weapon: H-27 sniper rifle, 45 mm caliber; 9 mm pistol, army knife.
Status: bad
Clement Volontido – a wealthy businessman. In his time, he successfully invested money in cybermedicine technology research and subsequently amassed a considerable fortune. He was then recruited by Gibbons himself and now belongs to the Illuminati group.
Features: none

Status: bad
George Cherevye – a wealthy man, a misanthrope. He is a very talented diplomat and knows how to persuade people perfectly. In his time, he was recruited by Gibbons and now performs the role of the chief recruiter for the Illuminati.
Features: can recruit any official or Bishop. The recruited are not told about other Illuminati and do not change their status, but they must act in the interest of their new employers (i.e., the Illuminati themselves decide how to use an extra vote or Bishop's NA). If Cherevye encounters Grotheric or Gladish during recruitment, he dies.
NA: recruit a character
Weapon: none
Status: bad
