in "The Succession Wars," I got tired of fighting off the blue and orange factions, or both at the same time. It did get easier with the main hero's and "mercenaries'" increased stats, but the problem isn't that: when I freed the shamans in the dungeon at the beginning, I missed which city to look for the relic (artifact) - the "The Succession Wars" - in. Starting over is a pain, and I don't have a save...:(

Yes, that wasn't the one. As was mentioned here, there are two islands shaped like a cup, one in the northeast and another south of the city on the map. And as you approach the area, a text appears from the goblin shaman, saying something like, "You're heading in the right direction, comrades."

And during a new playthrough, the chalice is nowhere to be found, neither in one place nor the other. The shaman's hint indicates that "it's closer" when moving towards the northwestern part of the starting island. I checked both locations and cleared them. Perhaps its location varies, as in the scenario "Tears for Ossir," if I remember correctly – there were different locations where Ashi could be found.

Absolutely. There are at least 3 of them. After that post, I decided to finish this scenario, reached the cartographer, and bought a map for 4K. As a result, the Chalice turned out to be on the third island, and the numbers in the screenshot indicate the order in which my Kunyak visited the islands.
P.S. Why I suspected a bug is because now I play all scenarios from Tribes of the East 3.0, I installed that mod. Well, you never know, I thought.

I didn't think the chalice could change its location in the scenario, but you were right – somehow the scenario creators managed to do it. Well, if that's the case, the game will be much more interesting.
