Shadowverse

Come on. Now imagine if the Swords of Vengeance expansion was translated into Russian.

Why would the game need two terrible voiceovers instead of one?

Well, actually, it's not a given. I've heard that if you translate from a third language, the Russian translation and voice acting can be better than the English one. I listened to the Japanese voice acting for some maps, and overall, if I knew Japanese, I would choose it without hesitation. 95% of the male voices sound noticeably better than the English ones. But I learned Japanese from Sailor Moon, and I only know three words, and since none of the characters say "Tsuki ni kawatte oshikiyo," I'll stick with the English version.

Well, I also know a few words in Japanese, and I'm fine with that. The main thing is that the voice acting itself is pleasing to the ear, while the pathetic parody of voice acting almost made me quit the game.
Although, lately, I haven't felt like playing Heroes of Might and Magic very much.

I don't understand everything perfectly either, but it's better if my ears only bleed from the squeaky voices of loli characters, rather than from almost all the maps. In English, there are a couple of more successful moments, in my opinion. For example, I think the voice acting for the owl is more suitable, but the rest... Well, and playing with the English version, you can safely assume that the Angel of Words and Robin Hood are girls.

As someone who has played the English version for over a hundred hours, I can say that the English voice acting in Might and Magic is not the worst. However, the other voice acting options are not as good.

The English voice acting was enough for me in the scenes with female characters and in the forest. I didn't like it.

That's an interesting criterion for choosing a game.

Nah, your Japanese voice acting is not good. Maybe I'm just too used to the English version, but the Japanese phrases don't seem more atmospheric or emotional to me; quite the opposite, actually. Plus, I can't understand anything, and for me, a significant part of the game's atmosphere lies in the English dialogue.

By the way, I've been wondering who Mordekai reminds me of. Here he is:

I guess the nostalgia evoked by the card is a big plus for me in its aesthetic evaluation.

Only Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Helloween can please my ears, so everything else is mostly irrelevant; I switch off my brain and just enjoy the overall feeling.
By the way, I don't like the Japanese voice acting for Rovan.

An interesting criterion for choosing a game.

I generally try to play all games with the original voice acting. I trust those who followed the original concept more than those who just changed things haphazardly. For example, Verdant Steward, who is a male in the English version, is the most obvious and clear example of why non-native voice acting is terrible.
By the way, I also try to watch movies in their original language with subtitles, if possible.

Basically, I got frustrated, crafted two altered fates, and assembled an altered fang deck for unranked play because I was getting completely crushed with my previous deck. It seems to be going a bit better with this one, although it's still not perfect.

By the way, they've added some new cards, but so far I've only seen them on the forum. What do you think?

Do you get a Guardian, Elana, and Seraph all at once every time?!

Well, not every time, but if they do appear, they tend to all end up on the board together)
Although, Elana is indeed given to me almost every round when playing as a Priest. And she isn't always useful – in the deck shown in the screenshot, it was a useless slot, as there were 2-3 cards for healing the hero. But Seraph worked out great. And in a match against Revan, it was the opposite – a lot of cards for Elana and few for boosting Seraph.

By the way, they added new cards there.

Sonia is interesting, both in terms of art and effect, although I doubt she will be useful anywhere, I think.
The Shadow Legendary, if you look at its immediate impact on the board, looks like a greatly buffed Flylord. Of course, the Lord is strong in the long run, but how often does he even survive until the next turn?
The Captain for Sword Coast is also interesting; I don't know if it will be useful anywhere, maybe in some kind of heavy midrange deck.

There won't be enough followers.

Wow, you're living the high life. You can't blame someone for enjoying themselves!
