Posts from Mafia 99. The tragedy of the city of Ve-He.
Nephila is intelligent, cautious, and moderately active.
According to the community, Guru could have been revealed as Tox yesterday just for fun. Of course, he couldn't have. Either it was a malicious intent (and then suggested by Mafotima), or it was actually the case. Guru's latest posts clearly indicate that he's not joking, right? And yes, I'm now inclined to believe this guy by about ~a lot.
Actually, after analyzing the topic, I came to the conclusion that Gur is truly Tox (otherwise, he would have reacted somehow), so Mentisch should be executed. Although, I wouldn't want to hang someone like Torsoh or Verfalis...
This transition of yours, to put it mildly, confuses me. It seems to me that the user initially just wanted to ruin my reputation, and everyone immediately jumped to condemn him :D
Okay, let's get straight to the point, for those who don't like reading long posts.
I've been thinking... and I'm advocating for removing votes from Ment and executing Master.
More details:
1) Ment is being voted out too easily, it's almost effortless. He has 8 votes, we have 13 townspeople, 2 neutrals, and 5 mafia. Of course, it's possible that all 8 voters are townspeople, but I don't believe that.
2) I'm personally ready to support Vesper. Because she's playing very well, she's poking all the lazy players in the game, she's analyzing, taking responsibility, and generally doing everything she can to win for the town (in my opinion, that's how you should play). Even if Vesper turns out to be mafia, I won't be upset at all to vote for her today and have her executed. But Master hasn't done anything to help the town win, he's just been doing nothing. And I'll be very upset if I support him and he turns out to be mafia. It's like he didn't even try, and he'll get a successful day for free. (This is aside from the minor detail that the mafia really likes to ask questions and *wait for answers* rather than think for themselves).
Now about Gur.
Let's assume I believe his information. Let's count.
Cursed:
1) Narodar 2) Verfalis 3) Sen-O-Ple 4) Torsoh
5) Zesma 6) Toregis (I'm not counting Ravena and Obena, they will probably take clean roles for themselves)
7) Simair 8) Ryashchu
Yes, Narodar and Simair won't die from being voted out, but, in my opinion, it's not such a definitive probability that we should execute someone just because of a bad role and ignore logic.
Even if I believe that Vesper is mafia now, she can be easily checked in the future, etc. Of course, she could be Ravena or Obena (and that's why she's playing so fearlessly), but, agree, it would be stupid of me to consider such a small probability and not consider the much greater probability that Ment is a townie.
p.s. By the way, I forgot about Shaman's uncounted vote for Ment, and here's Yaschur adding another one while I was writing. That's 10 votes in total.
Vote him out, Ment is definitely not mafia.
p.p.s. Vesper, keep this in mind for tomorrow. If I survive the night after being bitten, then Ment is 90% not mafia. Only a cool guy would cast a vote on someone who was bitten, especially when he himself was about to be voted out.
VesperLindt
You need to check in a chain... This is just for the future.
In principle, yes, but we have the ability to kill all the guests. And he named the targets for the first night. So he was probably afraid.

An execution "for information"? Something reminds me of this...:smile51:
I don't know what it reminds you of. As I said, there's a distrust of psychology here. Yes, in the realities of this particular game, the information won't be as effective. By "execution for information," they usually mean a semi-light game where roles are revealed before 10 players are left. Therefore, it's important to execute someone in the early days, because this will give much more information than night kills. And autopsies are also information. ;)

Interestingly, there are almost no players willing to hang the Master, despite the fact that the probability of finding a Mafia there is incomparably higher than following Tox's checks. :)
That's why it's important to execute someone in the first few days, as it will provide significantly more information than examining corpses at night.
This is also true, by the way. So, Medj, don't push too hard to remove votes there. No, we still have some time to change our minds, not much, but we do. But I can also wait, that's fine.
And autopsies also provide information.
No, I wouldn't say that. They do provide some information, but it's so minimal... Autopsies don't provide information about connections, and they won't provide much information about reactions or anything else, so it's generally a waste of players. Unless, like Tox, at the right moment, and with loopholes in the rules...
No, I wouldn't say that. There is information from them, of course, but it's so minimal... Autopsies don't provide information about connections, and they almost won't provide any information about reactions or anything else, so it's generally a waste of players. Unless, like Tox, at the right moment, and with loopholes in the rules...
I was talking about psychology, where you can autopsy anyone and at any time. Overall, you're wrong. An autopsy isn't just about revealing information about a certain role. (and the person being autopsied may not even be that role) An autopsy provides information about who believed the autopsy and who didn't, and what the reaction was. This is exactly what provides information about connections, and also allows you to logically determine who has additional information from their nighttime roles, or who is a certain role.

Yashur can both give and take back.:D You guys are here, "just for information," and I'm just voting and moving/reallocating votes. Also "just for information." :D There's still no evidence...

But the Master didn't do anything to help the town win, he just did nothing. And I'll be very upset if I take his position and he turns out to be a Mafia member. Like, the person didn't even try, and will get a successful day for free. (this is ignoring minor details, that Mafia members really like to ask questionsand wait for answers, rather than reason independently)
Well, this is already some kind of double standards. Vesper didn't do anything except throw accusations at me and ask questions to others. Personal sympathies are fine, but you shouldn't rely solely on them.
Well, this is just double standards. Vesper hasn't contributed anything other than making accusations against me and questioning others. Personal preferences are fine, but you shouldn't base your decisions solely on them.
These two lines can be rephrased more concisely: "Sammaf." Such words will only further damage your reputation.
Also, you're attributing some personal preferences to me. If I remember correctly, I've never played with Vesper, and I don't even know him. Or can you provide any evidence to support your claims?

Well, the Master is already taking credit. To say that I'm not contributing anything to the game is a bit much. :)
By the way, it's also beneficial to take down the Master in terms of mana – so join in if you haven't already. He'll still mess things up, but otherwise, we won't be able to handle him at all.
I don't think there's much point in aiming for exactly 11 votes. It's better to aim for more, considering the possibility of invalid and zero votes.

But the Master did nothing to help the city win; he did absolutely nothing.
Or can you provide any evidence to support your claims?

We are talking about the current game.
Such words only work against you.
Absolutely any action by a player can be perceived as either a negative or a positive, depending on the perspective. Two players might perform similar actions, but only one of them will be judged through the lens of "that's how the Town would act," while the other will be seen as "he's trying to portray himself as Town. Obvious Mafia!" I've gotten used to the fact that in every game, someone is rooting for the idea that I'm Mafia. About 40% of them turn out to be right, while the rest of these armchair psychologists usually like to blame "the balance was in favor of the Mafia," "the GM ruined the game," and so on, but they never admit their mistakes.
For now, I'm inclined to believe Meggerson and Vespers; they seem to be doing a better job than the Master, whom I remember as a pretty good analyst. So, for now, I'm lynching the Master.
For some reason, I got the impression that the Mentor isn't afraid of being lynched, so the question is:
Scavenger: eats the player they killed. Gains immunity from lynching for one day and from death for one night. The eaten player cannot be resurrected or raised from the dead.
