The Manticore is a fictional creature – a monster with the body of a red lion, the head of a human, and the tail of a scorpion.

In “Heroes of Might and Magic III” and “Might and Magic 7”, the Manticore looked like a lion with a scorpion tail and wings; in “Heroes of Might and Magic V”, a human face was added to the image.

Necropolis is one of the factions in the Heroes of Might and Magic V universe. The main ability of necromancers is to raise undead from the corpses of fallen enemies after the battle.
