Necropolis (Necropolis)[edit | edit wiki text]

Necropolis is one of the factions in the Heroes of Might and Magic V universe. The main ability of necromancers is to raise undead from the corpses of fallen enemies after the battle. Initially, all enemies automatically turned into skeletal warriors or skeletal archers, but starting with patch 3.1, the type of undead the corpses turn into depends on the type of enemy (for example, most ranged units turn into skeletal archers, most mages turn into liches, and dragons and manticores turn into skeletal and spectral dragons).
