The next morning, the enemy launched another large-scale attack on the city. The defenders fought bravely, but the enemy managed to break through the gates and the outer western wall. A huge wave of invaders poured through the breaches in the defenses, but we put up a worthy resistance and held them back until our cavalry completed its maneuver. Taking advantage of an underground passage near the eastern wall, our knights were able to secretly leave the city and strike at the attacking forces from the flank, cutting off the main force of the attackers from those already inside the city. The former commander of the guard, now King William's viceroy, personally led the counterattack. And even a swarm of wasps, presumably summoned by one of the enemy mages, could not stop KindShaman’a. We quickly defeated the enemies who had been surrounded, and then engaged in open combat outside the city walls. The enemy warriors outnumbered us in every way, but inspired by our leader, we fought with redoubled energy, pushing the enemy further and further away from the city. Even our stone man, who recently lost two limbs and barely moved around on a prosthetic leg, managed to single-handedly destroy two enemy squads. But a dwarf stood in his way… They clashed face to face again, and the living pile of stones was unable to deliver any significant blows to his opponent. The dwarf managed to knock out the remaining leg of the stone giant, which had survived for several days, and immediately, with a second blow, knocked down the largest defender of the city. In a jump, the dwarf plunged his axe into the very heart of his opponent, shattering Vall d’Emeroll into small pieces... Not even the divine Fanis could have saved her.
Meanwhile, the enemy once again managed to push back our troops in several positions. A dark elf, the same one who almost killed me when she hit the light mage, led the attacking forces. She killed several of our soldiers at a time with ice arrows, clearing the path for her troops, but then she met our commander. They clashed in a fight to the death. The lack of power was more than compensated by the elf's agility, successfully dodging attacks time after time. Finally, she fired an arrow at her opponent, but he managed to shield himself with his shield. This battle could have continued for a long time, but fate did not allow either opponent to emerge victorious from this clash. Suddenly, a mighty roar echoed, and a troll burst onto the battlefield from the nearby forest, having felled about 20 trees along the way. He immediately began beating everyone indiscriminately, leaving behind a wide swath of land strewn with numerous corpses of warriors. The monster reached the site of the battle between our leader and the dark elf, and with its first blow it slammed KindShaman’a to the ground, leaving him no chance of survival this time. Immediately afterwards, SnowmanV2 followed him into the afterlife. His dagger, engraved with the inscription "GO OG 08 12 and Espoo" (probably some kind of spell), flew several dozen meters away from its owner; such was the force of the blow. While both sides were shocked by the loss of their leaders, the troll safely disappeared back into the depths of the forest... Reinforcements arrived for the enemy, and we had to retreat behind the city walls again… Who will lead us in battle now?
