Larisa, they were definitely killing mafia members, because the description of the killer is "dean," and the military commissar apparently couldn't have committed the murder on the first day; I was wrong about that. And by the way, why could Ment have been a nerd? A nerd wouldn't get drunk, and if he did, he would be hungover for a couple of days.

Okay, I'll remove it then. I'd like to clarify a couple more things before the game starts, specifically regarding how events are reflected in the newspaper:

1) If a potato block is used against a student one night, and the professor expels the military commissar, the message about the military commissar's expulsion will not appear in the newspaper. (This is done to avoid revealing the military commissar to others.)
2) When a student is expelled, they automatically join the army. If the military commissar is killed, the player joins the army and dies there.
3) The military commissar does not kill on the first night.
I'm also wondering if I should allow Botan to use his ability on himself once per game.

there are no hints in the story about Alex regarding his role. The block of cards also leaves no clues. The story simply makes it clear what action was applied to the player.
