New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
So, what's the point here? Explain it to me. And they made the already dumb AI even weaker by removing the unit's natural ability.
It definitely works!
But who among the players would intentionally harm themselves? Losses? That's nonsense. If someone attacks them, they'll do it with a group of angels.
You shouldn't be so harsh. The point is that when mana is very important, you can fight on quick battles without losing it, but there will often be some losses. That is, variability has been added so that the player can decide for himself what is more valuable: to possibly take damage or lose mana.
I often attack in the first week or at the beginning of the second.
Apparently, you play with a large health reserve, since you only attack ghosts with a group of angels :D
There was a long discussion about this on the forums – most top players agreed that stealing a large amount of mana, especially when attacking with a not-so-strong army, is too expensive an ability for tier 3 creatures, and they made this adjustment in quick battles.
IMHO, everything is fine, there is variety.
Haha, this is the "smart" PvP – a battle between players, not against neutrals:)
They even stole morale from the stupid neutrals, and to completely destroy the AI, they kept it for themselves.
I still haven't heard a proper answer,
Even if it's on a quick battle, in case of any losses in tactical combat mode, they are easily defeated.
Do you often attack them in quick battles? Or are we talking about something else? And what does that matter? Even if it's in a quick battle, in case of any losses in tactical combat mode, they are easily killed. Where is the natural compensation for quick battles in the form of mana stealing?
Not just them, I was just saying. And what difference does their hit points make if you attack them and lose some units, you can just replay and easily kill them. You don't attack them with a starting hero of level 1 without buying anything from the castle and with a second hero, do you? You attack them when you're sure you'll win. It doesn't matter if you have 10 angels or 5 knights (and even with experience ;)) against a crowd of weaklings. They're still doomed.
But please, let's not talk about "most top players." I recently watched a replay, and it reminded me of the paranoia about the world elite and the new world order. I'm talking about the game's balance itself, not about who agreed to what.
I still haven't heard a proper answer as to why the idiotic AI was deprived of any chance to cause the player any trouble. But the motives are clear!
Yes, of course :D
A battle between humans is an RTS where micro + speed of thinking decides, IMHO. And not this nonsense with GSC (Global Strategy Combat).
He's not that important, but he's relevant:smile42:
Even the fact that, on a widescreen monitor, due to the elongated hexes on the battlefield, I, for example, constantly have to recount the cells in areas where I usually play on autopilot, is relevant to the issue. What suggestions do you have for eliminating this inconvenience in the game?
