First, new military discoveries, and now reinforcements in the ranks of Silverdane's warriors. A perfectly logical move, given the now crystal-clear trajectory. But now, it seemed, the time for active action had come.
Greeting her lord as etiquette demanded, she turned her gaze to the stranger who had addressed her.
— Pleased to meet you, Sir Noxis. Your speech is well-spoken, and your bearing shows the discipline of an experienced warrior. I have no doubt your talents will serve Silverdane well.
- I confess, my lady, I am here primarily out of self-interest - for me and my precious wife, the Surface proved unfamiliar and full of indescribable horrors, leaving us no choice but to turn to our acquaintance Lord Cartridge for help. Now it falls to me to lend a hand in defending the interests of our new home.
— I have heard how different life in Ikazkan is from ours, so I can understand your surprise and unfamiliarity. Moreover, these are volatile times, and the way of life in other regions of Tezoth may change drastically in the coming months. But there is no shame in your self-interest, Sir Noxis. Rare is the outsider who takes up arms to defend a land that seems foreign to them without additional reasons. And your motivator is one of the purest and most noble. I'll not keep it a secret, but I confess to you that self-interest once brought me to Silverdane as well. I fought the Monsters of Regret not out of any lofty feelings or a desire to protect those dear to me, but for the clinking coin. My sword served first and foremost only to secure my livelihood. But time passed. And with it, Silverdane as a whole, and Lamento in particular, became my new home. Along with that, self-interest gave way to a desire to protect those who were once strangers but became my friends. A desire to defend the way of life in these lands, which had grown so close to me. And so I became what you see before you now. Not a mercenary fighting for herself, but a knight standing guard over Silverdane. I hope these lands will also find favor with you and your wife.
Kaleido coughed artificially, signaling that the introductions could continue later — it was time to announce the main point. - Given the circumstances, Silverdane's path forward is set — our primary goals will be the recovery of Machiat, Tempesta, Novellet, and Sanbornia, as well as achieving sovereignty and restoring an independent Cortina. How exactly these goals will be achieved, whether through diplomacy or war, I leave to the two of you to decide — the strategy is known to me, but the finer details of tactics elude my mind.
I wonder if Revan will even make any reference to our and Nebko's activities in Ikazkan... After all, we had a promising organization, and Rurek and Osh continued to support it after the storyline ended.
- That's too cynical a view. The world isn't that hopeless, otherwise the whole continent would have died out long ago, and your region even more so. But he was right about the "mincemeat." He meant that you should avoid relationships with someone so unpredictable, and not tie your life to them even at cannon-shot distance. Are there any positive stories about her, or at least ones that don't reek of chthonic horror? I still can't shake the feeling that it's not all so one-sided. Tenacious people never go without a screen or two.

Should've written in the epilogue that Rurek took twenty wives and started fighting the Shadow radically: breeding faster than it can kill. And now half of all Sord population are Rurek's descendants... such wasted potential!
1) Will the item of Melancholy be determined by the player, in general terms, or by the GM, depending on the template? Are equipment units required for it?
2) Does the "Conjure Item" spell allow generating equipment units? Can it be used to create a simple 100 HP potion?
3) Can a squad consisting of only the commander figure capture locations?
4) When participating in an event, does the squad commander retain their location on the map?
5) Is it possible to create a template with non-combat skills for further use?
