I have a point: in the last ~15 packs I opened, most of which were from the new update, I got... nothing. Literally. Maybe 2-3 gold cards dropped at most, and those were the least useful ones; the rest were silver and bronze. Although, no, this isn't an argument, it's just that I'm getting tired of it, and that's a good thing.
^same thing. I had to craft all the golds for the forest. BUT THREE GRIMNIRS, animated Grimnir and animated Galretto. And an anomaly, how could I forget the anomaly. But strangely enough, I've recently gotten a second wind and continued climbing rankeds with a forest deck. Sometimes it feels like I need to either make up my mind or stop hesitating either add goblin mages and Finoks, or throw out cockroaches and nature guidances, but it passes after a couple of won battles.
You can never find enough high-quality maps because you're too lazy to spend time on daily tasks.
As for the street fighters, I've only encountered that bison in about twenty games since the update. And I can't say that its "out-of-place appearance" has "ruined my immersion, mom!" (lol), as dozens of complainers were ranting online. To summarize: to each their own; personally, I'm not even interested in such end-level gimmicks. Right here, this is how important they are in my head – *points to the floor*.
I haven't seen any of them, and I'm a little disappointed, it would be cool.
By the way, if anyone is interested, I came across a video with their English voice acting and animations. Yes, the drawing is very crude, but some of the phrases, in my opinion, are cool and/or just funny.
You don't play Hearthstone, huh? For about 60 packs of the new expansion that came out three weeks ago, I only got one legendary, and it's useless. In Shadowverse, the last two Throne of the Tides legendaries I got were... two Elf Queens. And the first one dropped a long time ago. And I don't play Elves, and I still don't, because I don't have any good legendaries from previous expansions. But at least I'm accumulating a lot of dust, so I can't complain.
I was a little annoyed at first by the Street Fighter characters, but then I just didn't care anymore. In Hearthstone, people also complained when they started deviating from the Warcraft canon and creating all sorts of Morgls, and nothing, we're still playing and everything is fine. And purely pay-to-win characters, judging by my experience with Hearthstone, won't be that common in the game.
By the way, in the Single-player campaign, the last two Town Portal scrolls I found were... two Elf Queen artifacts. And even though the first one dropped a while ago, I still haven't played as an Elf.
The day before yesterday, I logged into Heroes of Might and Magic to play a single brawl, and ended up with an epic and a golden Izera.
It's a shame that I didn't have time to play properly this season - after the update, I reached rank 1 as a mid-range hunter (as I promised myself) in 2 days, and then real life took over.
I was also laughing at all the quest-focused players; it was the easiest climb in my life.
I don't really like Hunter, but Midrange Hunter showed the best results this season among all the decks I have, especially in high ranks. I climbed to third, then dropped to fifth while testing different decks, and eventually stopped playing ranked. I really want to dominate with Midrange/Murloc Paladin, but I still need to craft a couple more cards. Control Paladin is fun, but it's not quite my style.
I don't like Hunter either, but I needed to show some skill after a four-month absence from the ladder.
Murloc Paladin fell like Pirate Warrior, another cancer deck. And I don't have the cards for a control deck.
But overall, I really enjoyed the old-new Handlock, but unfortunately, it's still missing something.
I'm missing Tarim (a new legendary) and Murkvisors. And while you can still play Control Paladin without Tarim, it's not ideal, but Murloc without any 1-mana cards is definitely unplayable. I just don't really like this playstyle with Doomseer, Pyromancer, and Equality; I still sometimes miss Intendant and Coghammer. Handlock is cool, I agree; it was really strong at the beginning, but it's weaker now. It probably lacks healing. Apothecary is too situational, and having only three healing cards isn't enough.
Same issue. There's still no Gadgetzan character with both burst damage and healing, which is a key factor in fighting aggro decks. I don't think the problem with handlock is the healing, but rather the inability to reduce the hand size through Taurissan. Alexstrasza/Jarakus, costing nine mana, essentially paralyze you for a turn, giving only a weak result, and heavy cards don't allow you to build up defenses and clear the board with Shadowflame, and they even removed Power Overwhelming.
The goal was to win with Haven and climb the ranked ladder. I entered the ranked matches with my Storm Haven deck. Before that, I reworked the deck and added this card to it. In the end, it was this card that helped me win, because opponents stubbornly refused to trade with it, and it was impossible to eliminate it with the first available spell.
By the way, Storm Haven performs well in ranked matches. I lost against Aggro Shadow, but I managed to win against Necropolis-Shadow.
I checked the stats. All normal players are using cockroaches with Finka and goblins for the Sylvan faction. But I can't fit them into my current deck, and it's a good one. The Cloverbelt combo is just ridiculously good; you don't even need to bother with it. Just put a couple of Clovers and a couple of Bolts in your deck, and you're already ready for the combo; just add whatever else you want. I have three Bolts, and I think that's justified. Sometimes, it's enough to just finish off the enemy through wards. I could, of course, throw out the Wists and Wolfs, but Wolf is the only Sylvan AoE + counter to frogs and other creatures, and Wist simply increases the chance of surviving until the combo is ready, although maybe DE, Wardens (my waifu), and Air Elementals will be enough, and I'll heal and ward like crazy.
Started saving up for the next expansion. Had a whim. Bought three TotG packs. Got a dark Jannah for my Storm Haven. Pretty cool, just wish I had Zoe with Cthulhus. Or tiger amulets.
