It’s been a while since I got an anime-themed artifact. The game clearly wants me to play as a “grinder” (considering the three Pascalks gathering dust in my collection). And in the background, you can see Grimnir and Lu, whom I used to upgrade to three copies each.

And I keep messing around with Grimnir. Even though my aggro-midrange-control-combo-clown-bolt-roach deck was doing well without it, I'd rather they brought the goblin mages back.

Durandil, they said. Insane Sylvan OTK combos in the past, they claimed. Didn't even break a sweat in the process. Although, on one of the first days, I got completely wrecked by that amulet.



And also, when things get serious with Sylvan, Arisa starts annoying me, and I generally prefer playing with male characters.



But my Sylvan deck is kind of bad. Maybe I really crammed too much into it and need to throw out half of it, and max out the other half to 3 copies each. And bring back the goblins.

It was high time to swap out the leader. But she could have waited a little longer for the sake of those divine street fighters.

I would have swapped them earlier if the leader was more appealing.

With a heavy heart, I decided to remove the husband, as I found a deck quite close to mine. Instead of the missing Tia, I inserted second Wing-luffs and a couple of Lillas. After all, Lilla is just too good, and people complained that Tia in Clovo-bolt eats up the hand way too much. I think crafting a third Erin and a third WoTF is a good idea, but I might have gone overboard with the third bolt.
And overall, it seems like a decent selection of decks; tomorrow with a clear head I'll dig around and pull something for my unrankeds, because the rune deck is just mega-epic garbage, blood is a bit crippled, and the dragon is basically a meme alt-fang OTK (it's just that Windows weren't delivered for an aggro-idiot, and all the bottles for legs went to DE, clovos, and one Alberto-kun, I REGRET NOTHING). I might even snap, dust a bunch of cards, and craft Cerberus. And then I'll go into rankeds and invite everyone to go on an adventure.

And then you'll be stuck without any dust or maps for another hundred years.

I finally managed to get the disshift rune. Damn, I can’t play like this. You just sit there like an idiot and boost this disshift, while the opponent actively develops their board and beats you, and you can’t even defend yourself because the disshift costs 18, the flame link costs 10, and the rest of the deck is only aimed at drawing them quickly and boosting them. And, of course, the wind blast never gets boosted properly, the levai never comes into your hand when you need it, the ice golem never prevents the opponent from tearing me apart, and the angelic snipe simply doesn’t fit into your hand when drawn from the top of the deck. But when I finally reached the point where I could play three disshifts and two flame links, m-m-m...
By the way, I appreciated Vista after all. If you go first, it performs very well in the fourth round. Not as well as the Death Elemental, but still a pretty unpleasant thing. With a perfect draw, I can have a continuous chain of wards from rounds 3-6. And on round 7, heal up to 20.

I'll be playing ranked matches and inviting everyone to join me on an adventure.

After replaying Heroes of Might and Magic, that phrase immediately brought to mind, "Who's up for an adventure?!"



Also, Cerberus has a funny voiceover, both in the original and in English; I would nominate it for that, if it hadn't already been nominated before.

And overall, it seems like a pretty good selection of decks.

There's some strange Cannonguard there, and Control Sword without a healer is interesting, but I'll try to put together something similar. It's true that they still haven't added Gawain. I was amused that there are no Rune decks with Dashi (although I haven't seen them in the game for a long time).

Exactly, when Shift plays against you, everything is ready by turn 8, and he's flying all over the place, but when you play, by turn 8, only the first Shift enters your hand, even though you're drawing cards like crazy. As for the gameplay of "sit and defend while you gather your combo," that was actually familiar to me, because at the time I was getting acquainted with Shadowverse, I was playing Hearthstone with similar decks (that's probably why Dishift became my first serious deck). Although in Hearthstone, such decks sometimes get a 10/10 VanCleef on the first turn or Insight-Insight-5/10 taunt on the second, but that's another story.

In that game where I finally won, I got two decent starting hands and a third one came along in rounds 2-3, so I spent more time worrying about "AAAAA WHAT SHOULD I UPGRADE?!" than actually playing. But when I lose, I just sit there and grind it out like crazy. But in general, I don't really enjoy that kind of gameplay. In Sylvan, there's more activity on the board; you evolve your Elven Archers or place a Dryad, but here, all you have is Levai, Merlin, and a couple of Clay Golems.

I feel really bad... But honestly, I'm only doing this because of the daily quests! I was told to win with Dungeon, so I could at least boost my rating a bit, because playing Sylvan is just so frustrating... I was even happy when I lost, at least someone punished that arrogant Dungeon player. And that was with no Legendaries and an incomplete set of gold items <_<

Sometimes, if I'm lucky with the daily quests, I combine games so that I can complete 2-3 daily quests with a single match. This time, for that, I needed to win with a dragon in ranked matches. Remember that I only have one more or less complete deck for the dragon – Altfang. Before that, I was playing ranked matches with Shadow, and if I was crushing almost everyone with it before, now I was barely scraping together the necessary wins. I was mentally preparing to lose all my rating. But unexpectedly, I managed to win 2-3 matches against another dragon player.

I have no idea what I've done; I'll be testing it now. As the name suggests, two Azazels didn't make it into the deck.
I strongly suspect that I need to focus on control, because to pull off the combo, I need to survive; but, as I said, I have very few control cards and I'm missing some key ones (Revelation, for example). Luckily, I had three Baphomets, three Lauras, and two Azazels, so I just threw in a bunch of filler cards that I could find and that I have a chance of surviving with until I can pull off the combo. The deck turned out to be terrible, but at least it's a deck where my favorite creature plays the main role.
And yes, I don't know why I added two Garletts; I guess it's so Azazel has someone to cheat with. I've never seen this card in a game, but I've seen aggro lists that use it (probably because it's the default 2/2/2), and since the deck is already a mess, why not make it an even bigger mess.



P.S. You won't believe it, in the very first battle, this Dalek-like Azazel showed up in my hand >_> He missed me, lol
