Same issue. There's still no Gadgetzan character with both burst damage and healing, which is a key factor in fighting aggro decks.
I don't think the problem with handlock is the healing, but rather the inability to reduce the hand size through Taurissan. Alexstrasza/Jarakus, costing nine mana, essentially paralyze you for a turn, giving only a weak result, and heavy cards don't allow you to build up defenses and clear the board with Shadowflame, and they even removed Power Overwhelming.
