PvP Rating and Battles on the Map
A new restriction has been added to the existing list of restrictions on attacks on the map. Now, a battle on the map between two heroes is impossible if their PvP ratings differ by more than 10%. This rule has exceptions:
1. A clan war is in progress between the heroes' clans.
2. The heroes are in a Competition or PvP adventure.
3. One of the heroes has a Sign of the Ruthless Killer. This sign is temporary and cannot be removed. It allows ignoring the PvP rating when attacking on the map. The hero wearing it will be pursued with doubled persistence by ALL free heroes, even their own vassals.

Project Release Anniversary
Tomorrow, February 20th, we will celebrate another anniversary of the project release. And on the 23rd, there's a glorious military holiday.
Traditionally, during this time, various places to test heroic strength become available on HeroesLAND: Vampire Bunkers, Scarecrows, Huts on Chicken Legs, and Houses of Wet Undead.
At the same time, in order not to upset the delicate souls of heroes who have accidentally lost in those dangerous places, the Days of Immortality are announced: even if defeated in battles, artifacts will not break, external units will not disappear, and level 1 pets will not die.
We celebrate until February 29th. Hooray!

Goddess Day and Maslenitsa Week
March 8th will bring us Goddess Day. But we will start celebrating right now. Because without you, our dear ones, not only will spring not begin, but everything else will end very quickly as well. Today and tomorrow, even monsters will share festive spring bouquets with the heroes, which can be given to beloved women.

Simultaneously with this spring holiday, throughout the week in the Huts on Chicken Legs, heroes will be greeted by Pancake Grandmothers, who will delight them with pancakes with various fillings in honor of the upcoming Maslenitsa.

Red Pearl and the Contest
I. Recently, fishermen and treasure hunters have been finding a new, previously unknown artifact: Red Pearl. Its magical activity is so high that, when applied to an artifact, it completely removes all previously inserted spells, while destroying itself in the process.

II. A contest is announced for the best video for our mobile application on Google Play.
The author whose creation is published on the application page will receive any badge from the Vault for 6 months, of their choice. The author of the video that receives the most votes in the forum poll will receive the audience award - any badge from the Vault for one month.
Video requirements:
1. Duration: 1-2 minutes.
2. Quality: at least 720p.
3. The source material should allow for translation into other languages, primarily English.

Forgotten Spells and Interspecies Enmity
Ancient manuscripts were discovered in one of the recently excavated Great Vaults, bringing back forgotten spells to HeroesLAND: Magic Mirror, Fire Shield, and Assassin. Now, their scrolls can be found in the Treasure Rooms of the New Lands.
The same vault also contained descriptions of the lives of legendary heroes. Despite all the efforts of the Factions Council, which decided to conceal this information, the descriptions spread among the people, and now even illiterate monsters, following the precepts of their ancestors, have formed "pairs of hatred": Angels and Devils, Titans and Dragons, Djinns and Ifrits, as well as Elementals of all four types...

Resurrected Heroes
Over the years of HeroesLAND's existence, many heroes have left our challenging world for various reasons. The names of some of them have become firmly entrenched in history, so the Council of Factions has long sought a way to bring them back.
Today, these efforts have been successful. A unique, personalized artifact has been created: Ankh, which allows you to resurrect a chosen hero. The hero is reborn with all the artifacts, abilities, skills, medals, achievements, professions, possible debts, and history of punishments accumulated during their lifetime. The account of the hero wishing to perform the resurrection ritual using the Ankh must have available space.
Creating such artifacts is extremely laborious, and besides, they are all personalized. Therefore, the Council of Factions distributes them exclusively through the Auction. And today, several trial lots have appeared there at a starting price of 500 Khroshiks. The lifespan of the Ankhs is limited – hurry to help the heroes return to life.

Early April Holidays
At the beginning of each April, we celebrate two holidays: a fun one and a wet one.
On April 1st, all armies of all heroes start playing pranks, taking on the appearance of others. And sometimes, other kinds of jokes happen.
On April 3rd, we collectively wake up the Water Elemental to celebrate his name day. Therefore, until April 4th, in any battle on the world map, a Visit to the Water Elemental scroll may appear. It can either be sold or, after a prayer, used. After use, this scroll instantly teleports the hero to a battle with Tongue-Lashing Froglings and Spitting Stone Golems, cute but dangerous creatures. The winner will receive a reward in the form of a Water Elemental's Treat.
We remind you that it is easy to deal with the April Fool's Day pranks – simply re-select the hero after the battle has begun.

Title Exchange
While exploring the world of HeroesLAND and battling within it, heroes earn various titles. Some are better at fighting monsters, while others excel against other heroes, whether in Arena battles or on the world map.
Now, at the Altar of Sacrifice, a hero can sacrifice some of their titles to other heroes. When someone uses this gift, the hero will receive a reward from the Altar.
Not all titles can be sacrificed, and only those that have not yet been fully earned. When acquiring a portion of a title, remember the level restrictions that apply to the hero.

The 71st Anniversary of the Great Victory
One of the most important holidays is approaching: the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. On May 9th, we will remember all those who won us the right to exist, and believe that soon wars will only remain in virtual worlds.

Looking at those inhabitants of the Overworld whose memory turned out to be surprisingly short, in their Bunkers, the Vampire Bats are stirring again, once again hoping for Portals, which reliably supply reinforcements from the hordes of Zombie Stones.
Until May 11th, those heroes who can remind the enemies what is true will receive Badges of Victory over Vampirism, which can be exchanged in the Tavern for commemorative artifacts.

Spell Granules and Other News
The two quiet days clearly benefited the staff of the Council of Factions' magic laboratories. As soon as they stopped being distracted by the clashing of swords and the crackle of lightning from the Arena, as well as the mournful groans of monsters brutally killed in battles on the map, they immediately invented a new type of artifact: Spell Granules. These include the Haste Granule, the Bless Granule, the Wave of Death Granule, and many other Granules, totaling 25 in number.
The bad thing is that the recipes for creating these Granules were stolen by the Dragon Warriors and Dragon Mages, who were the first to awaken in the restored world of HeroesLAND. The Dragons kept some of the recipes for themselves, and scattered the rest throughout the Treasure Vaults of the New Lands.

And here is some more news:
1. The number of slots of the "Miscellaneous" type for a hero is now six.
2. The duration of spells cast independently in battle by the "Cursed Armor" and "Angel Alliance" sets is now fixed and does not depend on the hero's magic power.
3. In order to alleviate the sadness from such a long separation from HeroesLAND, the upcoming weekend is declared the Days of Immortality: even in defeat in battles, artifacts will not break, external units will not disappear, and first-level pets will not die.

Fabulous dragons, surrender, and free heroes
Fabulous dragons have finally remembered their inherent ability – to sometimes reflect an enemy spell onto a random enemy unit. And now they are actively using it.
From today, you cannot surrender in a clan war if your clan owns any property on the world map.
Free heroes from level 25 are now equipped with the "Angelic Alliance" set. In addition, starting from level 14, they now wear fashionable granules. For now, these are only the Air Shield Granule and the Curse Granule. In light of this alarming news, the Council of Factions declares the Days of Immortality until the end of this week: even in defeat in battles, artifacts will not break, foreign units will not disappear, and pets of the first level will not die.

Lands of the Werewolves
Once, this was a thriving archipelago. Content inhabitants, sandy beaches, and the best portal-based transportation system in HeroesLAND. Everything changed after an ancient book containing recipes for a powerful Vampire Set was found on one of the islands: Claw, Shield, Armor, Mask, and Boots. As soon as an artifact from the set was created, the first Werewolf appeared out of nowhere. And it began...
This seemingly unremarkable "wolf" was frightening not so much for its extremely high resistance to any damage and its ability to accelerate in battle. It was frightening because anyone bitten by it quickly turned into another Werewolf. Only the "Dispel" spell provided some help.
The connection between the Vampire Set and the Werewolves could not be understood, and soon there was no one left to understand it: all the inhabitants of the archipelago turned into Werewolves. This included the Worms that crawled onto the deserted main island. Since then, this area has been known as the Lands of the Werewolves.
Brave heroes can reach it through a portal on Cold Rose, which recently appeared near the Golden Mine. The Guild of Werewolf Hunters strongly advises using a special Mace in battles against these monsters.

Changes to the clan system
From now on, clans that include heroes belonging to the same player cannot only wage war against each other, but also conclude peace agreements of any kind in the future.
In addition, it is not possible to accept a hero into a clan if other heroes belonging to the same owner are members of clans with which the target clan is currently at war or has a peace treaty.

The Battle of Kulikovo
September 21st is approaching – the day when, in 1380, the decisive battle between the united Russian army led by the Grand Prince of Moscow, Dmitry Donskoy, and the army of the Golden Horde's temnik Mamai took place on Kulikovo Field.
In HeroesLAND, this date is marked by the annual festive tournament "The Battle of Kulikovo," which starts on Monday and will last for the entire following week. Heroes of level seven or higher are allowed to participate in the tournament, and their army must consist only of Russian (Peresvet, Russian Warriors, and Russian Battle Wagons) or Horde (Chelubey, Horde Warriors, and Horde Battle Barrels) troops.
All those who wish can now purchase the corresponding packaged units in the Capital Store, in the "Scrolls" section.
At the end of the tournament, the winners will be awarded commemorative medals of the first, second, or third degree, and all thematic troops and packages will be removed.
We remind you that rare artifacts and the spells "Explosion" and "Summon Elementals" are prohibited in the tournament.

A new approach to clan politics
In addition to the existing clan wars in HeroesLAND, a new type of relationship has been added: clan peace. Two levels of peaceful relations are available:
1. Non-aggression pact. Allows heroes from different clans to be on the same tile on the world map without starting a battle.
2. Agreement on joint use of clan property. Includes a non-aggression pact. In addition, heroes from clans that have concluded such an agreement can use the clan property of both clans. Currently, this only applies to player-created Portals and objects in the Domains.
Peace treaties are concluded for a month and must be signed by both clans to take effect. The maximum number of simultaneously concluded peace treaties for one clan is ten.
