Amulet of Rebirth
The secret laboratory within the Guild of Mages of the Council of Factions has finally completed its painstaking, years-long work and presents to the interested public a powerful artifact: Amulet of Rebirth.
By purchasing this Amulet in the Capital Store and using it, any hero of level ten or higher gains the ability to change their very essence, given to them at birth.
As a result, the hero will receive a new castle of the chosen type, in which buildings similar to those in their current castle will already be built. The starting and primary parameters gained by leveling up will be adjusted to match the new type.
The transformation is paid for either with coins or gold. Moreover, the cost of the operation depends on the popularity of the chosen hero type in the world of HeroesLAND.

Kupala
Tomorrow we will celebrate an ancient holiday - Ivan Kupala, associated with mass bathing to drive evil spirits out of the water.
On this day, heroes of various ages first douse themselves, then everyone around who doesn't mind, and after dousing everyone else twice, they begin to search: what else is there to do? Traditionally, at this time in HeroesLAND, much can be done in the Houses of Wet Evil Spirits, which are washed by currents toward the capital lands. In them, any kind of cheerful heroic activity will be fully supported by the Unclean Stumps and their Leaders, who grant the winner their Unclean Stump Resin.
A troubling piece of News this year was information about another leak of secret developments from magical laboratories. This time, the "Smart Houses" project was stolen, resulting in copies of these very houses appearing inside the Undead Houses, which heal their inhabitants every two rounds, starting from the very first. The good part of the news: there are only five heals and these Houses only heal; they do not summon new Stumps.

Duelist Badges
Now, Duelist Badges are not only awarded for victories in battles against other heroes on the world map but are also taken away upon defeat. In addition, their quantity is now displayed in the hero's information, in the "Badges" section.
The question of whether their quantity can drop below zero is still under consideration.

One player - one account
We are forced to state that despite all attempts to make it convenient, multiple registrations bring more harm than good to our game. Therefore, starting September 1, 2015, HeroesLAND will enforce a rule prohibiting one player from using more than one account. Strict attention will be paid to monitoring compliance with this rule.
Until September 1, players will have the opportunity to transfer their heroes between their accounts for free. To do this, they need to know the passwords and answers to both security questions specified during registration. All players using multiple accounts should choose one of them (or create a new one), gather the necessary heroes on it, and delete the rest, including tactical ones.
We will resolve any possible issues on an individual basis.

Knowledge Day
As everyone knows, now one player is prohibited from having more than one account.
In addition, everyone should be aware that the monitoring of compliance with this rule and the penalties for its violations are especially strict.
The Factions Council, which knows everything, has made some changes to the Lineage.
Heroes who are knowledgeable in adventures in the "Blood of Dragons" quest can now obtain a Pearl instead of a Breaker of Family Ties.

Armored Rat
Armored Rat appeared in the pet breeding laboratory just the other day. Moreover, not only its armor, but also everything around it, could only be slightly scratched by the most reliable adamant drills.
Now, the Armored Rat can be obtained in the "Pet Development" quest. This rat has a 10% chance to reflect an enemy spell. Its aura gives all the hero's troops 20 additional defense units. After the attack, it returns to its original position. The opponent cannot retaliate. Upon attacking, it applies an "Devastating Beam" spell of expert level to the opponent. Three times during the battle, it can cast the "Shield" expert-level spell on all the hero's units, lasting for three rounds. It is immune to the "Clone" spell.
The armor of this Rat is still undergoing testing.

The Puppet Master Rat has had one of its three abilities to control enemy troops removed.

Kulikov Field
On September 21, 1380, the decisive battle between the united Russian army, led by the Grand Prince of Moscow, Dmitry Donskoy, and the army of the Golden Horde's temnik Mamai, took place at Kulikov Field. And although today we know much and little about this battle, it became one of the first steps towards the liberation of Russian lands from the Golden Horde's dependence, which happened only a hundred years later.
HeroesLAND could not pass by such an event and decided to celebrate it with a festive annual tournament, "The Battle of Kulikovo," based on that epic battle.
The tournament starts on Monday and will last for the entire following week. Heroes of level seven or higher are allowed to participate in the tournament, and their army must consist only of Russian (Peresvet, Russian Warriors, and Russian Battle Haystacks) or Horde (Chelubey, Horde Warriors, and Horde Battle Barrels) troops. All those who wish can purchase the corresponding packaged units in the Capital Store.
At the end of the tournament, the winners will be awarded commemorative medals of the first, second, or third degree, and all troops and packages will be removed.

The themed troops are already available in the stores so that heroes can test them in battles against each other in the Arena, and we can assess the need for possible modifications before the start of the tournament.

Mobile HeroesLAND. Early Beta Testing
Recently, I've been working on porting the HeroesLAND client to mobile devices. Now that we've made some progress, it's time to kindly ask everyone who is willing and able to help with testing the early beta version.

November Updates and Modifications
Battles on the Arena now allow players to place bets with gold. The bets of all participants form a bank, 90% of which goes to the winning side.
A new option in Settings: "Show battle information." When disabled, the battle window will close immediately after the last action is completed.
The "Recall" spell can now be reflected.
The number of Large Treasure has been reduced. Now, a Pearl can be found in it.

"Cursed Armor" and "Angel Alliance"
A team of mages dedicated to researching "complex magical emanations that grant special properties and abilities to a hero equipped with a complete set of artifacts with increased affinity for each other," colloquially known as "set auras," has recorded the appearance in our world of a new type of such emanation, provisionally named "auto-spell."
The first successful experiment in the practical application of this new knowledge made it possible to revive the "Cursed Armor" set, consisting of a Dead Knight's Sabre, a "Dead Maw" Shield, a Bone Helmet, and a Rib Cage. Henceforth, a hero possessing such a set will automatically cast "Slow," "Curse," "Weakness," and "Bad Luck" on the enemy at the expert level during the first turn of their unit at the beginning of the battle.
However, even such interesting news could not distract attentive heroes from rumors that parts of another ancient set – the "Angel Alliance" – are sometimes found in the Great Hoard: a Wonderful Armor, Sandals of the Saint, Divine Necklace of Bliss, Shield of Lion's Courage, Sword of Justice, and even the Helmet of Heavenly Enlightenment itself. The chronicles that have reached us assure that the aura of this unique set increases the hero's attack, defense, magic power, and knowledge by 4; any physical and magical damage dealt by 20%; reduces any physical and magical damage received by 20%; and allows the hero to automatically cast "Prayer" at the expert level during the first turn of their unit at the beginning of the battle.
The same source reports that now, quite different armies await unlucky treasure hunters, but has that ever stopped anyone?

Alexander Nevsky Memorial Day
We are ashamed to admit that we missed December 6th – the memorial day of the great prince Alexander Yaroslavich Nevsky. He is remembered for not losing a single battle in his life; he demonstrated talent as a commander and diplomat, concluding peace with the strongest enemy – the Golden Horde; and repelled the attack of the Germans, simultaneously defending Orthodoxy from Catholic expansion.
We are making amends. Until the next Monday, all heroes who have reached level seven can honor the memory of the prince by visiting Lake Chudskoye with the aim of forcing the Teutonic Knights and Knechts into peace in their Tents and Headquarters.
Those who win the battles will be rewarded with Alexander Nevsky Medals, which can be exchanged at the Tavern.

The Sign of the Principled Hunter and Khroshiki
I. Within the depths of magical laboratories, a special project has long been brewing and has finally come to fruition, designed to aid those of our heroes who strongly dislike clashes with other heroes in our harsh world. As a result, a unique artifact has emerged: The Sign of the Principled Ranger. This sign is permanent and cannot be removed. A hero wearing it will not be able to participate in PvP battles or any events where they might occur (Tournaments, sieges of Fortresses and Mines, PvP adventures, etc.). Creating an artifact of such power requires rare resources from the outside world, so it is only available in the Wallet.
II. In the same Wallet, it has become possible to exchange coins for Khroshiki, which can currently only be used to attempt to gain a greater profit than by directly exchanging coins for gold. Khroshiki can always be exchanged back for coins.

2016
It feels like we were just celebrating the end of 2014, and now the end of 2015 is already approaching. Luckily, the end of one year is always followed by the immediate beginning of a new one – the year two thousand and sixteen. With all these exciting events, we will be congratulating each other for the next few days.

Traditionally, not far from the capitals, at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, New Year Trees have been erected, where all heroes above level seven can find snowballs thrown by Mischievous Cyclops, warm embraces from Kind Grandfather Frosts and their Playful Grandchildren, as well as two braids of Devilish Snow Maidens. Lively, but rewarding interaction with these New Year characters will definitely be rewarded with New Year Snowflakes and Sacks of Gifts, and something new might appear among the latter.
Heroes of lower levels shouldn't be upset. First, the holiday will stay with them until the Old New Year, and second, as a reward for any successful battle on the world map during this time, they can find Sacks of Gifts, New Year Fireworks, "Snowman" Sets, and numerous New Year souvenirs, which can be presented to the object of their affection, accompanied by a corresponding congratulatory inscription.

The "Dragon Herders" Adventure
Your party enters an area where two Dragons are lost. They are strong, but young, and therefore – foolish and timid. If you help them leave the area, Portals leading home will open. The Dragons can only leave the location if they reach either of the right corners of the map, the top or the bottom. Guide them, avoiding dangers, and receive a reward.
In case of defeat in battle, the hero is resurrected at the beginning of the path.
Reward of your choice: 20 Ancient Coins or Sign of a Principled Forester for two days.
