Of course. Maybe it's still not a good idea to allow heroes from a banned faction?

Did it work in "After"?

There, only humans and demons are listed in the map properties as available heroes.

I had it set up like this:
1) All heroes are allowed.
2) For Renegades, all 8 factions are banned, but RedHeavenHero01-06 are allowed.
3) Red Knights, Jir, and Glen are removed from the scenario (for the turquoise player).

You can also check the "Wrath of Heaven" mission in the Orc campaign. It's set up similarly for the red player.
