Blitz. It's about time.

On February 1, voting will be announced for the host location of the CIS-2017 Championship for the computer game "Heroes of Might and Magic 3".
The voting will last 5 days and end on February 6 (so that those who do not have a particular opportunity to read the forum on weekdays can vote over the weekend) - exactly 3 months before the start of the event: we will have time to get inexpensive air and train tickets.
The voting will be conducted using a point system.
The value of each vote is determined by the total number of CIS Championships attended (with accommodation at the actual venue).
In other words, 3 attended CIS championships (with accommodation) = 3 points per vote.
5 attended CIS championships = 5 points.
Without attending any CIS events = 0.25 points per vote, provided you have been registered on HeroesWorld for at least one year.

The timer definitely needs to be shortened, but there will always be those who, despite the provided pool of templates and the shortened timer, will agree on the worst possible HL+U map and spend 24+8 minutes playing it. I think we should introduce a mandatory timer, and for those who decide to change it by agreement, introduce a condition that, for example, if there are no results in the agreed-upon game by midnight (not in the morning, as they usually agreed on in previous LAN tournaments, and then waffle about sleeping during the day, playing poker in the evening, and the next tournament goes down the drain), all agreements are at their own risk. If they don't manage it, they quickly analyze the map, and if they can't determine a winner, they flip a coin.

What the heck is this?! Some kind of weird fantasy by Merlin. And why isn't MerlinTheMagician's voice rated at 35 points? Let's also discount votes for Volgograd by 0.7, since it was recently visited, while Yekaterinburg was visited relatively long ago.

We have 3 CIS cities: Minsk, Volgograd, and St. Petersburg.

Give Merlin some freedom, and he would deprive all players with a rating of 5 or lower of their voting rights.
