What's the problem? If the organizer isn't lazy and keeps the players engaged, 5 rounds can be played comfortably over 5 full days of gameplay. Add half a day for arrival and departure, and you get the format of Ekaterinburg-2012.

The number of participants is determined by the entry threshold – how much the minimum program will cost if you take the cheapest room, come only for the days of the games, and don't order any additional entertainment.

You can register for the event both as a spectator and as a participant. A participant's costs differ from a spectator's costs solely by the amount of the contribution to the prize fund.
