Open the file in the game folder\profiles\editor_a2.cfg, in the line setvar map_editor_mode = 1, change 1 to 0, enable the map editor, click Resources\Select Tables, a window will appear where you need to put a checkmark next to AdvMapDesc. Now click View\Game Database\Game Database Window 0. A window with folders of all maps will appear. Open it, and enjoy.

Good night, everyone. I have a problem with Heroes 5 and the Tribes of the East expansion. Basically, this is what happened: I installed Heroes, then installed the HoMM V EWA mod, and somehow, new level 3 creatures appeared for the Orcs – female ranged units! And the Dark Elves got dragons with 3k HP. I played around with it for a while, got bored, deleted it, and haven't played for a long time. But then I remembered this buggy part and wanted to play it again. However, I can't seem to make it happen. I've tried installing everything as before, but those "shaman" females don't appear. Can anyone tell me how to bring back these overpowered monsters? Please.

Hello, I decided to play Heroes of Might and Magic V, specifically the campaigns. Could you tell me if I need to install all the games in the series to play all the campaigns, or can I play all the campaigns (Hammers of Fate and the regular Heroes V) directly in "Tribes of the East"? If not, is it worth playing anything other than "Tribes of the East"? I remember the regular Heroes V seemed a bit underdeveloped a long time ago, and I haven't played the others.

Also, can anyone recommend some mods that don't change the gameplay too much, like mods that add a skill wheel directly into the game or something similar, making the game more convenient to play.

O_o, either buy the Gold Edition (then you will play each campaign separately in its own version of the game), or install Tribes of the East, and add the All_Campaigns mod from here: /files/10154/>
The mod may have some glitches, I don't remember exactly, but overall it should be playable, and the changes in Tribes of the East are quite interesting.

I don't think they sell the Gold Edition on Steam, and it seems a bit inconvenient to buy them separately. I'll try the mod, thanks.
