New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
I have a problem: when trying to create this map over a local network, the person connecting gets an error. The error says that the checksums don't match; please check the mods and patches. Error code 0.2.0.
Both versions of the game are the same, version 3.1, and there's a mod installed for faster computer turns + AI.
All maps in the Maps folder must be identical for both players.
It worked, but we can't really play. When playing through a local network using Hamachi, it lags terribly. Especially after the computer's turn (which, by the way, takes at least 5 minutes on the first turn), you can't do anything.
For example, the computer makes its move, and then my turn starts. To move a hero a short distance, you have to wait a minute or two. It's simply impossible to play like this. These problems occur on other maps as well, but the smaller the map size, the less it lags, although it's still unplayable.
try playing through Tunngle. Maybe we can even play together if you want.
I hope version 3.0 will be bug-free... I started with Necropolis, using Lucretia and Markel as a pair, and I've been playing for two weeks now.
And what mod is Markel from?
Yes, I have a mod installed that unlocks campaign heroes for single-player.
So far, everything seems fine. I've only taken one town, Haven, and I'm preparing to launch an expedition to the northwest through the bridge. :D
Good, at least it's not for NHF (since it's for 3.1).
What's the difficulty level? Are there any issues before updating to 3.1?

It's not necessary to collect the dragon set. It's just 100% scattered across the entire map.
Usually, the "Capture a city" quest appears when all cities are lost, even if temporarily.
Overall, it's a good game.
P.S. I still strongly recommend getting version 3.1. Some of the very best maps only work on it.
Are you talking about the temporary quest to "capture any town within a week" if you lost your own, but I didn't lose any of mine.
Is there a screenshot of the quest?
