Posts from your questions regarding the game rules (improving the interpretation).
What's the point of the ban? They have wings, there's a shorter path; should I shove them into someone's butt?! And there's no penetration into the zone:cool:
The rules don't have a clear definition of penetration, so it's unclear what you're basing your claim on that there's no penetration into the zone. And this, of course, needs to be clarified in the rules. Also, it's unclear why the shortest path is relevant. The rules don't require attacking the GO via the shortest path; there are other criteria.
The rules don't have a clear definition of "penetration," so it's unclear what you're basing your statement on when you say there was no penetration into the zone. This should be clarified in the rules. Also, it's unclear why the shortest path is relevant. The rules don't require attacking the Guardian by the shortest path; there are other criteria.
The rules state that you cannot penetrate the zone. In my understanding, penetration means moving around there, collecting objects, or killing monsters. I didn't do any of those things.
What are we going to do about this point in the end? More precisely, formulate rules or prohibit such actions?
First, we wait for the voting in the neighboring topic to finish to find out who will be handling the rules on HeroesWorld. Then, depending on the result.
What's the point of the ban? There are wings, there's a shortcut, am I supposed to shove them up someone's ass?! And there's no penetration into the zone:cool:
Shove wings up someone's ass without penetration?
Oh, these CIS finalists are so creative...:smile54:

The rules don't have a clear definition of "penetration," so it's unclear what you're basing your statement on when you say there's no penetration into the zone. And this definitely needs to be clarified in the rules. Also, it's unclear why the shortest path is relevant. The rules don't require attacking a Guardian of the Gate (GOTG) via the shortest path; there are other criteria.
By the way, as an alternative, you could allow stepping onto the adjacent territory by 1-2-3 cells maximum, either by moving past the shifted guard or by flying, but only with the purpose of: 1. visiting an object or resource belonging to your zone 2. attacking another shifted guard at that passage.
So what are we ultimately going to do about this point? More precisely, formulate rules or ban such actions?
When I created the topic, I saw it as identifying rules that have "questions" raised about them — further discussion in this topic about what and how to change them, moving them to the first post as a formality, and then "somehow" incorporating those changes into the General rules (if no one has questions about the wording, a vote isn't even needed — we inform either Dirty or Pete, and they make the changes with some kind of notification that the rules have been amended in such-and-such a clause; if questions remain, the decision will be made either by a vote created later, or whoever is responsible for the rules will have to decide/choose whether to make those changes or not).
Added after 45 minutes 2.6.3. It is permitted to enter an adjacent zone without defeating the passage guard in order to visit an object belonging to the zone in which the player is located. It turns out that according to this rule clause, it was permitted in Stinger's final game to pass by the shifted Guard Oblivion with an overstep along any necessary trajectory into someone else's respawn for further progression through the central treasure zone — since in that game one rule was violated so critically, a conflict of two rules arises, and in such cases one rule should take precedence and "nullify" the second rule (like in the analogy with a main road), but we do NOT have a stipulation as to which rule takes precedence, nor has there been a reason for such a scenario before.
That is, according to this rule: if you have breached into any zone (even the central treasure zone of Jebus Cross), you can bypass shifted Guard Oblivions and enter unbreached zones in order to proceed further to visit objects belonging to the zone in which the player is located(sic).
My proposal: 2.6.3. It is prohibited to enter an adjacent zone without defeating the passage guard in order to visit an object belonging to the zone in which the player is located.
Pros: 1) Fewer contentious situations (attacking a hero at an external dwelling in another zone without defeating the passage guard, as in Dau's(?) game, etc.) 2) Easier for the players themselves to interpret the situation (they see a passage — everything beyond the passage is an adjacent zone, and passing/overstepping is simply prohibited) Cons: 1) Some player will likely miss out on the external dwelling 2) You won't be able to proceed further through a zone by overstepping into another zone without defeating the guard
2.6.3. It is permitted to enter an adjacent zone without breaking through the passage's guard in order to visit an object belonging to the zone in which the player is located.
I don't know who formulated this nonsense and wrote it in such a way that it's hard to understand the meaning.
Reading it, all that comes to mind is: Be simpler and speak in a clear language... in a language that people understand... in a language for people.
In this case, it should be written that it is permitted to enter an adjacent zone, without breaking through the guard of that zone, to visit an object that belongs to the player's starting zone.
2.6.3. It is allowed to enter the adjacent zone without breaking through the passage's guard in order to visit an object belonging to the zone in which the player is located.
I don't know who formulated this nonsense and wrote it in such a way that it's impossible to understand the meaning.
You read it, and the only thing that comes to mind is: Be simpler and speak in a clear... in a clear language, in a language for people. if it's not trolling a gremlin's lair cannot belong to a treasure (it belongs to the snow realm - a blue player), therefore, a faulty generator placed it in another zone, according to this rule, it is allowed to pass through the purple lines (passage to another zone), and then a bunch of problems immediately arise.
P.S. I will now correct the previous post, not to remove the rule, but to change it from "allow" to "forbid".

I also thought only about the starting zone (realm), but this doesn't make the problems any less.
Added after 5 minutes updated the first post (p. 2.6.3.)
The rules state that you cannot enter the zone. In my opinion, entering means walking around there, collecting objects, or killing monsters. I didn't do any of that.
If walking in the zone is considered entering it, then flying in the same area should also be considered entering it.
It reminds me of a flight from Kaliningrad to Moscow via Lithuania. You need a visa to travel on foot, meaning you need to get permission to pass through, but not by air. Otherwise, it's just absurd:smile04:
The discussion of the topic with which it all began - block-rez - just fizzled out.
The topic is not just about "block-rez"; it expanded into the topic of wings/Dimension Door + GO Jebus Cross and more. We'll summarize later; anyone who wants to can speak up or suggest a rule variant
