What's the point of the ban? They have wings, there's a shorter path; should I shove them into someone's butt?! And there's no penetration into the zone:cool:
The rules don't have a clear definition of penetration, so it's unclear what you're basing your claim on that there's no penetration into the zone. And this, of course, needs to be clarified in the rules.
Also, it's unclear why the shortest path is relevant. The rules don't require attacking the GO via the shortest path; there are other criteria.
