Games with death
...A large clearing, almost in the center of the island, used to be the home of a shoemaker. But now, his half-ruined house served as a place to relax and shelter from the rain for Alesyor and Yuridyur. And the clearing itself became a place to play "skull." That's what they called this game. Ten meters apart, rectangles were burned into the clearing. Five meters long and three meters wide. The goal of the game was to throw a human skull so that the opponent, standing in the rectangle opposite you, could not catch it. Whoever fails to catch the skull ten times loses.
- So, - said Alesyor, wiping the dirt from his face. - The score is 9:9. The skull is in the hands of the great master Alesyor Mighty. Will Yuridyur Hammer be able to catch the skull and get a chance to counterattack? Let's see. But everyone knows that he is only delaying the inevitable. Because his defeat is inevitable.
- Stop talking, just throw it already, - said Yuridyur with a smile.
Vredun sat next to the house and watched the game, sticking out his tongue. Alesyor threw the skull into the corner of the rectangle. In a jump, Yuridyur managed to catch it with his fingers, thereby knocking it up and to the opposite side of himself. Alesyor already saw the skull falling to the ground, but his opponent surprisingly quickly managed to jump up, in another jump, catch the skull half a meter from the ground, and immediately throw it into the far corner of Alesyor's rectangle. The boy did not expect such a maneuver and did not have time to react. In a desperate jump, he tried to catch the skull, but it fell into the very corner, a couple of centimeters from his hand.
- Victory! - Yuridyur said in a stern voice, raising his fist.
- That was a great game, - said Alesyor, as they were almost home. - But you understand that I actually let you win.
Yuridyur said nothing, but just smiled and lightly hit Alesyor on the shoulder.
- Hey, be careful! I need this hand to win!
Vredun quietly growled, hearing a noise in the shed, which was next to the entrance to their plot. Approaching closer, the brothers also heard the noise. Aleel almost never leaves the Tower, and Ninoga stays at home. Someone unfamiliar was rummaging in the shed, but it was clearly not a dead person...

Near
WishmasteR, as yesterday, there was an armed skeleton with a sword. He vigilantly watched to make sure nothing happened to WishmasteR. And something could happen, because in front of the skeleton, the same person appeared again as yesterday. Only this time he had a staff in his hands. The man smiled and attacked the skeleton, making it run after him between the trees, and then knocked it down several times and set it on fire with a fireball. With some effort, the skeleton withstood the onslaught of the attacker, although it was a little burned. The attacker, having played enough, ran away somewhere into the forest.
MasteR was not allowed to pass along the path by a large skeleton. And when MasteR tried to go around it, it blocked his way again.
Empty eye sockets stared intently at their target, looking for something that might interest them.
Someone aimlessly wandered in the thick of the forest, not expecting anything, but was knocked down by an orc who jumped out of nowhere, and was crippled with a club. The same fate befell someone else, but this time the ill-wisher was no longer an orc.
