When you find a new pile of sand, a message appears indicating how much sand was found in that pile and how much has been found in total. Also, if you have the console enabled, opening it will display a green message containing the amount of sand found, which updates daily.

I started collecting this sand even before I received the quest, and I don't remember how much I collected anymore. Where is the console where I can see how much sand has been collected?
