It's strange, but everything worked for me too. And another question, how can I find out how much monacite sand I've collected?
When you find a new pile of sand, a message appears showing how much was found in that pile and how much has been found in total. Also, if you have the console enabled, opening it will show you a green message containing the amount of sand found, which updates every day.
