The questions are submitted through the moderator (3 questions), and at the end of the day (if it's not possible to write them down at the end of the day, it's better to do it as a continuation of that day. The inability to find an interviewee during the night, for whatever reason, is the journalist's responsibility if they don't take care of it in advance). The interviewee answers them through the GM. Two answers are true, and one is false. They are published in the newspaper in a stylized format with the interviewee's signature (they come up with the signature while answering the questions; the signature should hint at their profile, but not too directly). There are restrictions on the questions. Briefly, they can be summarized as follows: you cannot ask questions that clearly reveal the player's alignment. It must be the case that at the time of the interview, any combination of answers guarantees that they could be at least one town role and at least one mafia role, and there are no people who are guaranteed to be these roles based on the information available to the journalist.
In short, the journalist is cut, stripped, castrated, gutted, and deprived. But they can still crawl towards their goal!

As others have mentioned, we can execute a player, and if they turn out to be a town member, we can likely bring them back from exile! We need to use this opportunity now, as the risks of the Mafia preventing Capellan from bringing a player back from exile will only increase from night to night. Stop wasting time, NNV is only beneficial to the Mafia right now!
My position on WisTrit hasn't changed. I can understand someone who works day and night and doesn't have time for games (and if that's the case, why did they sign up?), but to play in an expedition and not be able to find 2 minutes for the Mafia... If he's a town member, because of players like this, in the previous Mafia game, we already had no chance of winning after the second night. IMHO, such players should be eliminated. Execute WisTrit.

The chance that the player we choose will avoid execution is 17%
The chance that we will hit a Mafia member is 28%
The chance that the Mafia will figure out and kill Capellan in the next night is less than 12%
If we execute a town member, and Capellan is blocked in the next night, it will be reflected in the newspaper, and we will find out who is playing as him.

Regarding the journalist's questioning, I have another theory

This is normal for HvH. Usually, this happens when there are two magic-focused teams in the game, and the chance of getting a negative effect is high.

Well, maybe you are right, it's not a very consistent version. And I already explained why she was surprised - she was answering the question like "do you have a non-lethal ability?" truthfully, being sure that her non-lethal ability is not a killing ability as such.
