I have a feeling someone will have to add easy and medium difficulty levels to the topic header again).
As for me, I play on recruit difficulty and don't even worry about it. I should probably just grab a tome of dark magic at the start, and everything will be fine.
I wouldn't say so... The map is undoubtedly beautiful, the cutscenes are great, and the humor is excellent. But tell me, why, when playing as the "Warrior," do I feel like I'm playing as the "Hero"? The spells aren't very good, I've only managed to replenish my army once so far, and at the same time, I have to fight very strong armies, replaying almost every battle several times to avoid irreparable losses? I'm not a "pro" player, although I've been playing since the very first "Heroes" games. But I do have some experience – I'm completing the map at the limit of my abilities. Understand that those who need adrenaline play on impossible difficulty. Those who just want to have fun choose the easy option... Of course, you can always cheat, but then, in my opinion, the game turns into an absurdity. As a rule, I don't even have the console set up... So, after a maximum of an hour of playing, the desire to continue playing disappears, at least for a day. And this is a pity, because the plot of your maps is very captivating.
1) During the beta test, I was told that it was too easy, but now it turns out that it's difficult.)
2) Have you tried playing on Recruit difficulty? This time, I tried to make the levels very different, and Recruit is much easier than Warrior. You can take a look at the script and see for yourself. If necessary, I'll make it easier
Among those who played through the map, did anyone find it strange that one of the garrisons had 360 archdemons?
It seemed strange to me . But I decided that I would deal with them later and jumped into the portal... By the way, so far, on "Recruit" difficulty, the map seems quite reasonable to me. Somewhere between "Warrior" and "Veteran" on regular maps :D
Seemed like it:confused:. But I decided that I would deal with them later and jumped into the portal... By the way, for now, the map looks really acceptable for the "Recruit" difficulty. Somewhere between "Warrior" and "Veteran" on regular maps :D
haha, "tried hard". And skipping things is not good; the map's peculiarity is that the hero can only move forward (almost always).
Added after 37 seconds Heroist
It's okay) it's not black dragons.
Still, they managed to wipe out one of my units.
Added after 1 hour 31 minutes Important note
After capturing the last castle, a message appears: "Return to the altar." You don't need to do this if the information-gathering mission hasn't been completed. It's a small bug.

Really? And what should you do with them without the appropriate magic? Lose your army? I watched the video, but it's unclear what kind of spirit and luck will give...
actually, I was developing the hero's combat spirit and luck, which is a priority. Spells are found along the way to the Dragon Utopia. + I also equipped the hero with 2 rings of broken spirit (as far as I remember), which I found along the way.

There was only one ring "along the way." The Utopia normally only gives the chain lightning. And I didn't level up leadership+luck for the hero. Everything from the beginning? I discovered another unpleasant thing - beautifully destroying legions of devils near the dolmens of knowledge seems to guarantee that the game crashes:( I played around with "dancing with the tambourine" - still, crashes occur due to zero addressing already when activating the dolmens...
Well, if that's the case, it's not so scary to start over – I personally don't experience any crashes in this area. The only time the game crashed for me was when I was in the northeast corner of the map and tried to move the map myself (using the mouse).
There was only one "path" ring. Utopia standardly gives only the chain lightning. And I didn't level up leadership and luck for the hero. Everything from the beginning? I will continue to work on it, you can wait. And I don't understand anything about the effects; everything is fine for me.
I used to encounter this error frequently in games, but it only happened on Windows XP. I'm not sure if it's related... As far as I understand, the meteor shower works fine, so why are there problems with Armageddon? Maybe there are too many effects in one place, and the memory is overflowing? But in some places, there are significantly more of them. Or maybe some files in the game's resources are corrupted or something else. We need to ask knowledgeable people if such problems can be solved by starting a new map; it seems like no one else has encountered this before.
The second addition – in Utopia, you also get the Phantom Summon spell. Regarding luck and leadership... Luck is essential for Warlocks. You can't do without it. Leadership also seems preferable to magic. In the previous map, I posted what I think is the ideal development model for a Warlock. Speed aura + teleport + 2 necromancer artifacts + decent luck = success!

The second point is that Utopia also grants the Phantom Summon spell. Regarding luck and leadership... Luck is essential for Necromancers; they can't do without it. I'll upload the revised map soon.
Well, I can only say that I'm using XP. Intel's developers can't seem to get the compiler right, so I have to use the old Compaq compiler... Regarding development, a mage should be casting spells. More often... Otherwise, it turns out that the army is just fighting... Okay, we'll wait for the new version:rolleyes:
