Posts from Appeals Committee. Disputed situations in tournaments.
Fellow Heroes enthusiasts, I'm relatively new to the Heroes website, but I've already witnessed two problematic situations – one with Vigo and now with Indra.
Why does the discussion of each of these conflicts turn into some kind of mess (I'm not including the AK in this)?
You're all over 30 years old, and yet you behave like schoolchildren, I swear.
Are you going to start talking about your mothers and your interactions with them next?
Why are you attacking this person? So what if he loaded a save in single-player and thought about it a bit? He explored with the heroes, checked which armies are effective against which, and what units to deploy.
That's perfectly normal!
You're talking about offline mode? And that's not allowed? It is!
That's what replaying the game is for:cool:
HA-HA That's what replaying the game is for It's awesome:cool:)
Gentlemen heroes, I've been on HeroesWorld only recently, but I've already encountered two problematic situations - with Vigo and now with Indra Why does every analysis of these conflicts turn into some kind of flame war (I'm not counting AK)? You're all about 30 years old, yet you behave like schoolchildren, by God Are you going to start talking about your moms and your interactions with them next? (=
Wow, is this a flame war? This is just lazy banter from having nothing better to do. You should have been here a year and a half or two years ago - now that was something! Passions ran high, propellers spun, feces flew. It wasn't a forum, but a straight-up air battle of Carlsons high on castor oil. :smile20: What we have now - it's pure boredom.:(
Wow, is this really a flame war? More like a lazy chat when there's nothing else to do. You should have visited here a year or two ago – that's when things were really happening! Passions were high, arguments were flying, and insults were everywhere. It wasn't a forum, it was more like an aerial battle between drunken, castor oil-fueled Karlsons. :smile20: But what's happening now is just boring. :(

I've spent a significant portion of my life playing Dota and participating in Dota community discussions, so I think I've seen quite a bit :D But if it seems somewhat acceptable among my 20-year-old peers, then in your case, it seems a bit out of place.
Hello everyone! It's been a while since I last visited, so I decided to drop by ;) and here... mega... awesome... :smile36: In short, it's a lot of fun.
It's time to set things straight...
I was immediately impressed by the sheer number of false arguments and pseudo-arguments that the AK mollusks used to shape public opinion. Why would they need to do this if they were right? I also clearly saw that there was no point in continuing the discussion because every time one false argument was refuted, another one would be brought up. And since a proper online discussion requires timely responses to threads, I simply didn't see how I could possibly deal with all the crap the mollusks had piled up, especially when I only checked in around 11 or 12 o'clock.
Being verbose has never been my weakness; you could say I was slow, clueless, and sometimes said things I should have kept to myself. But I always stood by my words, which seems to have upset the mollusks. This is also an achievement on my part.
Details: Oelm was caught red-handed loading saves without his opponent present during the turn delay.
You can get banned for this. Before this, I always looked at single-player saves in about 90% of my games. At least partly because it wasn't formally prohibited by the rules. Moreover, I sometimes consulted with other players about saves or discussed strategies. Sometimes I just showed the game through Viver, explaining what was happening. In the past, there used to be a tradition where people exchanged saves, looked at the position on the entire map, played, and trusted each other. The rules mention something idiotic about opening saves? What the hell does "opening" mean if I don't gain any extra information from it that I couldn't already get from a screenshot of the game? Pit indirectly confirmed that this wasn't against the rules when he opened this poll: /topic/at/645031/ Why would he need to do that if the situation were clear-cut?
He only appeared a couple of days later, giving completely confusing and vague explanations, essentially admitting that he did load the save but (!) just to look at it and focus, and then he left his computer, and the timer automatically counted down four days, ending the turn...
.
Again, fabricating facts. According to the dates in ICQ, it's obvious that the conversation with Tvarina took place the very next evening (or rather, night). Vagueness is more likely due to spoken language. You might mumble incoherently after a bottle of rum, for example. What was unclear? I explained the situation as I saw it. What exactly was confused? We'll see the answer later.
We had a strong feeling that the saves were tampered with (there was plenty of time for that), mainly because the sent saves (specifically 126) differed from the save on the screenshot by exactly one hour (Oelm either didn't know or simply made a mistake), and because Oelm perfectly understood that the saves no longer mattered (as he clearly stated in the conversation).
Apparently, AK became so obsessed with their own importance that they didn't even think to test whether there would be any difference in the game dates. But why bother when you can use special tools for lying and distorting things? Why did they need to ask ME about different dates? It seems this just didn't register in their jelly-like brains.
In general, the context suggests that there are actually no facts, but the question of GUILT has turned into a question of TRUST. There are no facts, as Petenev said:
Why should we delve into the saves and figure out the extent of maphacking and its impact on the game? We're not interested in figuring out what else happened and guessing what might have been.
Not "not interested," but incapable. The impact of maphacking on the game is irrelevant; that would be a REAL accusation. But there is distrust towards me personally. And frankly, I don't care what the Autistic Comedians think about my GAME.
Wicc:
Nevertheless, let me say this - it's not right to act crazy and wave your fingers around when talking to authorized people.
Thank you for the advice, but who are these "authorized" people? They are a bunch of impotent spirits. I wasn't even sure why they took on the role of judges. I know respected people and players who have a very low opinion of their human qualities. And I think poorly of their gaming skills. For me, AK was like some kind of prosecutor-like organization. They should accuse, gather evidence of cheating. But the FORUM should make the decision. At least regarding the Championship matches. Here, the question is really about trust. Did I move heroes? Well, I accidentally moved them across an already explored map. Is THAT a big deal? Look at the date of the conversation in ICQ – around 6 am Moscow time. I got up at 7 am. I wasn't psychologically ready for the game; it was just awkward for my opponent because the game had been postponed about four times due to my fault. Then there was a game that lasted approximately eight hours with a break. Just experiment on yourself, even if you're completely healthy. In that state, you might send someone the wrong message by mistake. I apologized for my negligence in the game. I also apologize separately to Tanya for this.
They suggest that I repent for something. Numone - will you crack under pressure anywhere? There will be a formal ban on viewing saves in single-player mode; I will behave differently from now on, but for now, I will play according to my understanding.
The Apogee:
Quote: Message from Kilgor I don't think Indra is a cheater in the truest sense of the word; I don't rule out the possibility that this is his first time. This option will have to be ruled out.
Spring season 2009. SEM_56 received a load during replay several days later than the game was delayed. http://forum.heroesworld.ru/showthre...t=5780&page=18 From 267 – Oelm’s report, then 273 and up to 282. It's almost exactly the same situation as now. Almost four years have passed since then. You need to be quite optimistic to believe that there were only two such situations.
Situation: Little Petya (consider coincidences with real people to be accidental) got beaten up four years ago. Petya got beat up last weekend. Does it follow that Petya is a loser who constantly gets beaten up? According to Pit for LM, yes. In reality, maybe Petya is cool; he just had bad luck those two times. Maybe he's used to winning, or maybe he saved someone's life in those four years. History is silent. But according to the logic of the AK mollusks, Petya is a chump because of these episodes.
I want to remind you that during this time, I won many games against very strong players, and even if I lost, it was usually a close fight. With streams and without. I played for money, up to $500 per game. There were many interesting games with top players from the CIS and beyond. I took third place in an offline tournament /topic/9301/, where I convincingly outperformed the best player of 2012 according to HW, losing only to Eldegernon, a cheater, and Dmitriy_AS, an offline titan.
I completely crushed the #2 player of 2012 in two games and fought on equal terms in all games against the #3 player according to HW and the champion of the CIS in VT version - 2013.
...This will be my last post – a summary with attachments – screenshots about the "one-hour difference in dates" and pictures showing what AK should do, as I imagine it, etc., due to message size limitations.
Completely crushed player #2 from 2012 in two games.
I don't know what this has to do with the topic, and let's skip the ethical aspects of such writing, but for a person who doesn't engage in empty boasting, it would have been worth mentioning the games when player #2 crushed him.Oelm
...There will be a final post - a summary with attachments - screenshots about the "time difference on the dates," and with pictures showing what the AC should be doing, as I imagine it.
It was also perfectly clear that there was no point in continuing the discussion. Because, when one false argument is refuted, another one immediately follows. But, as a (c) Oelm implies, a proper discussion on the internet requires a timely response to the thread...
Lying has never been my weakness (well, maybe it's your strength, you know better :D). One could say that I was slow, a dullard, that I spoke about things I could have kept silent about, but I always stood by my words...
Your "accountability for words" in 90% of cases boils down to something like this: "I just have a certain kind of information, based on which I formed my opinion, and of course, it won't be shared here" (c) Oelm Oelm
Apparently, pus-like jelly flowed from the mollusks. Which is also my achievement.
Yes, this is entirely your achievement. The jelly on this forum. Oelm
I always looked at single-player saves in 90% of games. At least because, formally, the rules didn't prohibit it.
:smile52: "numOne: and, as you know, our rules prohibit opening saves before the end of the game Oelm: yes, I know that" (c) Oelm
Again, a distortion of facts. According to the dates in ICQ, it is clear that the conversation with Twaryna took place the very next evening (or rather, night).
The game was on the 29th, if I'm not mistaken, and the logs of your replies to Twaryna are from the 31st, so I wrote "a couple of days," although it's possible that less time passed, I don't argue. Oelm
Incoherence is more of a characteristic of spoken language. You can mumble incoherently after a bottle of rum, for example. What is the confusion? I described the situation as I saw it. What exactly was confused?
I could post the entire log of your replies, but I think a couple of quotes from it will be enough:
Oelm: Well, it's quite obvious that the heroes were left running Oelm: and they created autosaves Twaryna: it's clear that this is our map Twaryna: and that it was loaded after our save, an hour and a half later Twaryna: no offense, but that's more than suspicious Oelm: well, maybe Oelm: such a difference Oelm: okay Oelm: alright Oelm: I'll try to provide arguments Oelm: for a smart person Oelm: well, I think that's what needs to be done Twaryna: I'm listening Oelm: well, first of all, the streamer just puts his trust in you right away Oelm: especially in SC2 Oelm: or wherever else Oelm: if you want Oelm: to see the wins, it's logical Oelm: there probably was Oelm: I mean, there was definitely a win Oelm: and there, he could have entered some cheat Oelm: and Oelm: or whoever entered the infinite turn Oelm: for the hero Oelm: anyway, there's no point Oelm: in going through some saves Oelm: I think the saves don't matter
...
Twaryna: you should understand, the shadow has already been cast Twaryna: the stream has done its job Oelm: damn Oelm: I don't believe Oelm: that no one saved the game Oelm: on their computer Oelm: well, first of all Oelm: in the report, I still need to return to the topic Oelm: I think that's what needs to be done Twaryna: if there is a report, and not just technobabble, then yes Oelm: so I don't want to hide anything Oelm: damn Oelm: I probably have Oelm: the right in any case Oelm: to comment Twaryna: of course Oelm: well, it will be Oelm: and about the game Oelm: and about the situation Twaryna: damn, well, that's just empty words :) Oelm: in general, if you have any suggestions Oelm: then I'm ready to listen Twaryna: my suggestion is simple - send these saves Oelm: besides these saves
...
I honestly even shed a tear when I reread the logs of your replies. :) Oelm
Apparently, the AK was so intoxicated with their own importance that they didn't even think to test whether the date difference would appear in the games. Well, why bother, when you can use special means of lying and distortion.
We checked, and no such date shift occurred. And I actually wrote that we assume that the saves were faked, we don't have and can't have ironclad proof. What lies and distortions did you see here? Oelm
In general, it follows from the context that there are no facts at all, and the question of GUILT has turned into a question of TRUST.
There is a fact of a rule violation, which you yourself admitted. And, yes, you are right, it was largely a question of trust in you. This trust is gone, strangely enough, for none of us. Oelm
...There will be a final post - a summary with attachments - screenshots about the "hour difference in dates," and with pictures of what the AK should be doing, as I imagine it, etc., due to the message size limit.
We look forward to it! :)
And in general, the emotional message gets a five out of five, I praise you! Mollusks, jelly, impotent spirits, autistic comedians - this is just:
Пусть мой враг будет силен и страшен. Если я поборю его, то не буду чувствовать стыда.
Funny))) And that's all he could answer. Besides insults, there's nothing else of value. Oelm, you should have named your post "My Deep ANALYSIS." Every person achieves something in their hobby (in this case, it's about Heroes), but since you love Heroes so much and have been on the forum since 2008, or even earlier, you haven't achieved anything in the game!!! Just "I won against this guy once, I won against that guy twice..." and that's it)))) You haven't won a single tournament, everywhere you participated, you were just crawling around somewhere at the bottom)))) And he still calls others "mollusks"))))) hahaha... of course, you'll say that tournaments are meaningless, but in my opinion, tournament results are an indicator of a player's strength, luck, and success, of course, IMHO. So, where do you end up in all of this???... of course, in the... where you were and will continue to be))) both in life and in the game))))
