LORD OF THE RINGS!!!!!!!!!
GUYS, WHAT'S GOING ON!!!!!!!!!
Instead of arguing, help the future GM with advice, who is currently a complete newbie.
I would help, but I don't want to spoil Mass Effect for myself, unfortunately.
Hostor, where is the gnome with a gun? How can you play in a setting without a gnome with a gun, tell me?
Are you talking about Tristan? <_<
..She didn't fit the city roles. And even less so for the mafia.
And the second mafia?
Just breaking the patterns.

If you want to wait until March and then play through all the parts, it won't be relevant, I think. Otherwise, I'll wait; I have a long queue ahead of me. Thanks for responding, at least.

And yes, I think having two GMs is normal. A long time ago, I played on another resource, and having two GMs was common practice. If something happens to one, you can nudge the other.

Here. This option works for me. I've played three and a half games, and in ALL of them, SOMETHING happened. I'm starting to believe in the existence of a curse.

..She wasn't suited for city-based roles. And even less so for mafia roles.
Yes, I just didn't know what it was called: I was observing from behind, watching the other player :) If I were playing this game, she would definitely be my number one character ;)

Feature: Runestone Skin - any action redirected by Galio is nullified and has no effect.
Passive: Gargoyle Taunt - Galio redirects the current passive of the selected target to himself.
I like it, although it's essentially just a standard block.
Feature: Void Opponent - after Malzahar and one other ally die, he can kill the remaining ally and switch to the other teams. If all allies die, he can also switch to the other teams.
Good.
Passive 2: Poison Mark - Twitch leaves a poisoned mark on the target. No more than 5 marks per game.
Passive 3: Plague Burst - Twitch activates the poison of the marks, killing all marked targets. Defenses don't save them.
Also good.

Murder crows. Maybe add surveillance/investigation?

.

Special abilities: soul migration - takes the body of his killer or one of those who executed him (chosen randomly). Listened to Morny and removed the elves? Instead, there are similar-looking mafs. And almost all the mages are the same.
I liked the old version more. Although here, the roles are more interesting, maybe, there are many different ndsheks and details (which Morny doesn't like), and the old one was simpler.
Sage of Pandemonium
Oh, if he gets in the way of the wrong person, they'll kill him after the game.
- Protects a specific target (1, 2, 3)
What?
Lady Camellia
:o

The city is strong, but the mafs are even stronger.)

P.S. You should first test it with the old sets, and not come up with new ones.

You were an Angel in the VisTrita game, right? And you don't know that? :smile36:
P.S. go through the old sets first, instead of coming up with new ones.
This one is as old as the others. I have drafts from the beginning of summer. Some of them haven't been uploaded yet.

Besides, I want to try a game where Non-Damage spells have more importance than usual, and where players have a choice not only about who to apply the Non-Damage spell to, but also which one to choose.

Didn't you play as an Angel in the VisTrita game? And you don't know that?
I could have died instead of someone else, that's all. Maybe once per game, I could protect everyone, I don't know. But isn't the first option, with killing, better?

I've decided to post my set after all, for now without images, otherwise I won't get into the queue and will only finish it by the end of next year :)
To fans of the Strugatsky brothers, if there are any: please don't beat me with sticks for such a perversion continuation of the plot and distortion of the Troika's essence - otherwise, it wouldn't fit the nature of the mafia :) Suggestions and wishes are welcome, especially regarding balance (whether some characters are too OP).

Monday Begins on Saturday, or The Return of the Troika

No more, no less than ten years have passed since the criminal organization – the Troika for Rationalization and Utilization of Unexplainable Phenomena – was liquidated on the seventy-sixth floor of NIICHAVO. Life in the institute flowed its own course: as always, Monday began on Saturday, and August in June, and mages (and not only them) worked selflessly without rest. But, as is known, in a place like NIICHAVO, same rarely happens without adventure. "Adventures," of course, appeared, but their scale and consequences were suspected by no one were suspected only by Yanus Poluektovich. A real threat from the past loomed over the institute...

NIICHAVO

Yanus Poluektovich Nevstruev, Director of NIICHAVO
According to employees, simply an ideal director. One man with two faces: U-Yanus is a great scientist, A-Yanus is a quite ordinary administrator. Most employees have become so used to this that they don't think about the reasons, and those who know his secret prefer to keep quiet about it. U-Yanus has a habit of constantly asking what happened yesterday, but on the other hand, he is perfectly informed about tomorrow's events – much more accurately than the same Department of Predictions and Prophecies.
Special Features:
Authority – double vote.
One in two faces – exists simultaneously as A-Yanus and U-Yanus. Any NA applied to him works with a 50/50 probability on either A- or U-Yanus. Can use 2 NAs every night.
Counter-clock – U-Yanus cannot be killed (even by the Big Round Seal). If A-Yanus is killed, U-Yanus does not perish but loses his double vote and disappears for the next night.
NA:
A-Yanus
Instruction – can send an "order" to any of the city roles regarding who to visit the next night. The target has the right either to follow it or to remain inactive that night. Applied once per role.
State of Emergency (once per game, starting from the third night) - any killings have a 50% chance not to work.
U-Yanus
"What were we discussing yesterday?" - finds out who the target visited last night. Does not find out the NA type.
Status: A-Yanus – human, good; U-Yanus – mage, good.

Modest Matveevich Kamnoedov, Deputy Director for Administrative and Economic Affairs
A strict and commanding administrator who understands little about matters of magic, for whom the main thing is to follow the letter of the law and oppose the squandering of property. Many in the institute are afraid of him, while others simply prefer not to argue with him.
Special Features: Firmness – immunity to NA transfer.
NA: "Stop this right now!" - blocks the target.
Status: human, bad.

Fedor Simeonovich Kivrin, Head of the Department of Linear Happiness
A great mage and wizard possessing incorrigible optimism and faith in a beautiful future. In his turbulent past, he went through many trials that taught him much.
Special Features: Experienced Mage – 50% chance to avoid any magical attack.
Old Friends – searches for Junta; if he hits him, a link is formed.
NA: Knowledge of the Ancients – heals the chosen player.
Status: mage, good.

Cristobal Josevich Junta, Head of the Department of the Meaning of Life
A wonderful man, but at the same time completely heartless. Once, in his early youth, he was the Grand Inquisitor for a long time and still retains his habits from then. He is also known as an excellent taxidermist – a stuffer of specimens. His office, where he lets no one enter, reportedly holds many interesting things.
Special Features: Strength of Spirit – immunity to block.
Old Friends – searches for Kivrin; if he hits him, a link is formed.
NA: Vigilant Protector – protects the target and kills the attacker.
DD: Memory of the Inquisition – twice per game can insist on the execution of a chosen player. After the first use, status changes to "bad"; after the second, he reveals himself. Yields to the power of the Big Round Seal; in this case, the DD is not considered performed.
Status: mage, good.

Gian Giacomo, Head of the Department of Universal Transformations
Little is known about this undoubtedly great mage, however, rumors say that he once spent a lot of time studying defensive magic (as many old-timers did), achieving great success in it. Now his knowledge and skills will be most appropriate.
Special Features: Defensive Magic – if he is killed, 50% chance to kill the attacker (he dies regardless).
NA: Combat Practice – kills a chosen player (attack type – magical). If he kills an employee of NIICHAVO, he receives "bad" status.
Status: mage, good.

Sabaoth Baalovich Odin, Head of the Technical Support Department
In times long forgotten, Sabaoth Baalovich was one of the leading mages in the world. By solving the Equation of Perfection, he became omnipotent, gaining the ability to perform any miracle; however, he reached a dead end – the miracle should not cause harm to anyone in the Universe, which is impossible. Thus, he left magic forever and became the head of the Technical Support department at NIICHAVO...
Special Features: Might – always avoids the first assassination attempt, unless it is the Big Round Seal.
NA: Mastery – learns the NA of the target (target does not lose the NA). Finds out the NA type and can choose to apply or not apply it on the next night (but no later).
Status: mage, good.

Merlin
Head of the weather bureau, archaic and overconfident. He bases his predictions on a wide variety of omens and rituals, but his main tool is banal radio interception. He has greatly annoyed many employees with his night visits and embellished stories about the past.
Special Features: Annoyance – if the target's NA is "block", he provokes them to use it on him the next night (the player's target shifts to Merlin).
NA: Annoying Storyteller – deprives the target of a vote. If he visits Yanus, the latter loses only one vote.
Status: mage, bad.

Magnus Fedorovich Redkin
A bachelor of black magic and an unlucky inventor of invisibility pants seems to have finally succeeded in the difficult task – perfecting his invention. Moreover, the invisibility pants can help him realize a long-held dream – finding the legendary White Thesis.
Special Features: Secret Plan – cannot write notes to the newspaper.
Search for the Translator-Sofa – if he visits Korneev, he steals his sofa and, along with it, the NA. Korneev can reclaim the device by finding Redkin.
NA: Walk in Invisibility Pants – invisibly follows a chosen player, finds out who visited them and whom they visited (in the case of an NA not displayed in the newspaper, he receives a notification like "someone visited the target"). Cannot be used 2 nights in a row. On the night of the walk, he has immunity to all NAs except the Big Round Seal (on himself), the reinforced attack of a djinn (on the tracking target), and blocks (the walk does not occur).
Status: mage, good.

Roman Oyra-Oyra
A scientist well-versed in theoretical magic and simply a good guy.
Special Features: Teacher – if he hits Privalov, he gives him a lesson in magic, changing his status to "mage".
NA: Expert in Mathematical Magic – check of mage/human/non-human status.
Status: mage, good.

Edik Amperyan
Employee of the Department of Linear Happiness, very polite and decent. He aims his research at making other people even a little bit better, and it seems he is succeeding.
Special Features: none
NA: 1) Check of good/bad status.
2) Remoralization – if the target's status is "bad", it changes to "good" for 2 nights (current and next); during this time, the target loses all aggressive NAs (kill, block), if any. Does not work on Lavr Fedotovich. If he hits a djinn, there is a 50% probability he traps him in a bottle (the djinn appears alive and can vote, but remains inactive), 50% – he dies himself.
Status: mage, good.

Vitka Korneev
In some way the opposite of Amperyan – rude and unfriendly, but at the same time a very hardworking scientist engaged in studying the properties of the translator-sofa – a device that transforms real reality into a fairy tale one.
Special Features: Rude Person – 50% chance to have "bad" status during check.
Tough Guy – 50% chance to avoid physical attack.
NA: Start the Translator-Sofa – if applied to a human or non-human, it changes the NA target intentionally; if to a mage – the target changes randomly. On Redkin, it acts as a block.
Status mage, good.

Sasha Privalov
Head of the computing center, a talented programmer who entered NIICHAVO thanks to Oyra-Oyra. Additionally, he possesses a decent analytical mind, which allows him to figure out all sorts of tangled stories.
Special Features: Mage's Pupil – if he hits Oyra-Oyra, he learns magic from him – status changes to "mage".
NA: 1) Database Access – compares the statuses of two players, receives a result as "same/similar/different". Cannot compare with himself.
2) Analytics – receives an additional clue for a random kill. Cannot be used 2 nights in a row.
Status human, good.

Domovoy Tikhon
A house-spirit from the Ryazan region, exiled to Solovetsky for some offense. Fedor Simeonovich took him in and cured him of long-term alcoholism. He is famous among local house-spirits for his prudence and sober behavior.
Special Features: Illiteracy – cannot write notes to the newspaper; susceptible to Vybegallo's persuasion.
NA: Tracking – follows a chosen player, dies instead of them.
Status non-human, good.

Vurdalak Alfred
An elderly rehabilitated vurdalak who looks after the vivarium. He seems quiet and calm, but sometimes doesn't mind remembering his wild past.
Special Features: Illiteracy – cannot write notes to the newspaper; susceptible to Vybegallo's persuasion.
Old Habits – once per game can randomly cause a ruckus with old acquaintances from the vivarium, blocking two random players. There is a 25% probability every night except the first. If he is blocked that night, the feature does not work.
NA: none.
Status non-human, bad.

Troika

The mafia has 3 NAs, maximum one kill and 2 notes per night. Once per game (starting from the second night), the mafia can perform 2 kills, but without any other NAs.

Lavr Fedotovich Vunyukov, Chairman of the Troika
An incorrigible bureaucrat and formidable keeper of the Big Round Seal, representing a huge danger together with this object.
Special Features: "bottomless barrel" – immunity to remoralization.
NA: 1) Use the Big Round Seal – kills a chosen player, ignoring all defenses (including Junta's protection and Tikhon's tracking). Once every 3 nights, starting from the second.
2) Kill – only when he is the last one left in the team (attack type – physical, weapon – pistol).
DD: use the Big Round Seal – once per game can insist on the execution of a chosen player. Works only if more than half of the Troika members (ifrit not counted) voted for this player. Ignores Junta's DD.
Status human, bad.

Farfurkis, never called by name or patronymic
A lecturer by profession, candidate of historical sciences. Cautious and considerate, ready to do anything to earn the gratitude of his superiors. As it turned out, this includes killing.
Special Features: Caution – avoids Giacomo's defensive magic.
NA: 1) Document Check – check of mage/human/non-human or good/bad status (choice).
2) Kill (attack type – physical, weapon – pistol).
Status human, bad.

Rudolf Arkhipovich Khlebovodov
An uneducated opportunist who, like Farfurkis, strives to curry favor with the boss. Trying to achieve his goal, he did not shy away from dirty methods, but never killed with his own hands – it seems times have changed now...
Special Features: cunning – 50% chance to leave no clues.
NA: kill (attack type – physical, weapon – dagger).
Status human, bad.

Amvrosiy Ambruazovich Vybegallo, scientific consultant to the Troika
A cynical pseudo-scientist who once worked at NIICHAVO but sold himself to the Troika for profit. He earned the dislike of employees even while working at the institute. Research topic – creating "models of the ideal human" based on his own duplicates.
Special Features: clean hands – does not go out on a mission himself, therefore does not die from Junta's protection or a djinn's reinforced attack on the target.
NA: 1) Kill (attack type – physical, weapon – homunculus created in the laboratory)
2) Press Ties – cancels all notes (once per game).
DD: pseudo-scientific persuasion – Tikhon's and Alfred's votes on the daytime vote are not counted (once per game).
Status: mage, bad.

Traitor Ifrit
Ifrits are mostly duplicates of Arab military leaders. Like any other duplicates, they are only capable of following given instructions, so this ifrit, who previously served in the Department of Defensive Magic, can be called a traitor only with a stretch. Either way, he is now subordinate to the Troika.
Special Features: hates djinns – if he visits one, a fight breaks out in which 50% the djinn dies, 50% – the ifrit.
NA: 1) unexpected visit – blocks target
2) fire charge – kill (attack type – magical).
Status non-human, bad.

Loner

Escaped Djinn
Djinns – duplicates of King Solomon and his contemporary military leaders – can be kept in bottles for many years, and once freed, are capable of only two things: building palaces and destroying cities. This specimen, escaped from Amperyan's laboratory due to the carelessness of some house-spirit, is a vivid confirmation of that.
Special Features: Unclear Nature – always avoids the first assassination attempt, except for an ifrit attack and Amperyan's visit. Upon a successful assassination, instead of being killed, he is trapped in a bottle (appears alive and can vote, but remains inactive).
Hates ifrits – if he visits one, a fight breaks out in which 50% the djinn dies, 50% – the ifrit.
NA: 1) Build a Palace – goes into full protection from external influences. Cannot be used 2 nights in a row.
2) Destroy Laboratory – blocks target for the current night and steals their random NA, with the possibility to apply or not apply it on the next night. Does not find out the NA type.
3) Lightning Discharge – kill (attack type – magical).
4) Reinforced Discharge – kills the target and with a 50% probability all who visited them (calculated for each separately). Once per game.
Status non-human, bad.
