Does a good book necessarily have to contain something instructive? I'm not stupid enough to copy and paste a book, especially since a piece taken out of context won't look very good.
(I haven't read the book)
So, what are we talking about? This isn't Transformers 3; it's a film based on a book.
Tomorrow holds no promises Except the ones we've made
I didn't express myself correctly... Do you apply anything from Pelevin's books to your life?
You're mixing up the types of books; it's not a "do-it-yourself" guide, but a work of fiction. There's a lot to think about, it's written in an amazing style, and there are hundreds (or even thousands) of interesting descriptions and reflections that are simply enjoyable to read. When entering Moria, do you whisper "friend" in Elvish? Do you remember that stone and metal protect against the Threads? Do you remember to shout "NIGHT WATCH" while holding up a charged amulet and a desert eagle?
about the movie, and the corresponding section, right?
But in the book, the battle didn't feature many dragons or battles on broomsticks; logically, this shouldn't be in the movie either.

I watched "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and enjoyed it; it's a pretty good movie. It's not without its flaws, of course, as there are some logical inconsistencies, and the moral ("there are things that shouldn't be changed") is complete nonsense (in real life, people often lost out because they ignored scientific progress). However, I was pleased with the "tactics" of the apes, and the scene on the bridge was truly something. The reason for the research is also quite logical, rather than just another attempt to create a "super soldier" or "biological weapon." I'd rather not say anything more, as I don't want to spoil it, but if you're looking for something to watch in the cinema, I recommend "Rise of the Planet of the Apes."
Watched "First Squad." It's a Russian-Japanese animated film... You get the idea. The theme: The Great Patriotic War. It evokes a very strange feeling while watching; everything seems so familiar: our guys, the Nazis, scouts... And at the same time, it feels completely unfamiliar because you don't often see a war movie in the anime style. Overall, the film is quite emotionally powerful, and I like that, so I rate it positively. But I also understand those people who will be disgusted by it; this style (and the plot with paranormal elements) will probably seem like a perversion to staunch conservatives who love war movies.
Yesterday, I watched Conan the Barbarian in 3D. It's full of violence and mayhem. I recommend it to those who enjoy gore. Overall, I liked it, but the barbarian himself looks like a complete idiot. I was especially annoyed by how Conan, with the help of his girlfriend, easily defeats the necromancer at the end.
Смысла нет, но вы держитесь там. Удачи, здоровья, хорошего настроения! И пока в кармане пачка милкиуэйев - значит все не так уж плохо на сегодняшний день
Not a bad movie, but it didn't captivate me. The film's idea doesn't develop. Essentially, almost everything that happens is action. Six and a half.

This one is more upbeat. Despite the presence of a certain plot mosaic, you don't have to rack your brains. There's good humor and charismatic characters. An eight.

And I rewatched this one, the movie is just excellent. But you better not watch it, Sky. A nine.
Menti, why did you delete your message? It wasn't official.
Honestly, I don't understand what Inga and the dwarves have to do with it, but the necromancer, in my opinion, strongly resembled Raevanna from Heroes. Watch the movie, and you'll see for yourself.
Yes, and her father wasn't a necromancer, but a mad king. The Barbarian got a good beating from him.
