New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
I don't understand why there are 5 games in the season – I'm not even playing it right now:confused:.... But if we're talking about tournaments, I think 5 people can be gathered, so I consider myself a fully eligible voter:p.
My 7 candidates:
Dirty, LeBron, Scorp, VBN, Cash, Javdet, Vick.
Excellent AK, I don't see any reason to change anything...
I think Pete, Pavel, LeBron, and Mizrael should stay. The rest (Scorp, Wbn, Dirty Player) should be removed.
The others (Scorp, Vbn, Dirty Player) should step down.
Но поскольку я нищий,
у меня лишь есть мечты.
Я разостлал свои мечты пред вашими ногами.
Ступайте бережно, ибо вы ступаете по моим мечтам.
I suggest adding Kash to the current team; I hope no one will object...
Sorry, I just said what I thought!
To date, the Draft Election Regulations for the AK are proposed for discussion in the following form:
1. The Appeals Committee is elected for 1 year.
2. The date of the AK elections is May 01 (tentatively) 2010.
3. Every player has the right to vote in the AK elections:
- who has played at least 5 games (confirmed by reports) on HeroesWorld in the season preceding the AK elections,
or
- who participated in 1-2 offline tournaments on Volde in the season preceding the AK elections,
or
- who is, or has been, a member of the Interportal Team of Volde.
4. A player participating in the vote in the corresponding topic created for voting indicates 7 players whom he would like to see in the AK.
5. A player participating in the vote does not have the right to vote for himself.
6. As a result of the elections, 7 players are selected for the AK by a simple majority of votes.
7. A second round of elections is held in the event of a tie in votes and the absence of vacant positions in the AK. For example, the seventh and eighth players on the list received the same number of votes, so in the second round, only these players participate. In the second round, the player(s) who received a simple majority of votes are selected for the AK.
8. A player with an active ban does not have the right to vote.
If a person who knows me in real life sends me into retirement, then that says something.
Besides, I don't like the fact that people don't appreciate when someone does something for them selflessly.
I believe that the AС (in its current composition) has outlived its usefulness... And controversial situations in tournaments should be resolved by the organizer and a specially invited judge for that purpose.
After this situation, I seriously started thinking about the questions: "Do I even need Heroes at all?"
What makes you say that? :) I'm against it. For the AK to resolve fundamental and contentious issues, absolute objectivity is necessary. In my opinion, Cash is a bit too focused on himself, and his decisions often have a very personal character...
And Wicca in the AK is a pointless step; everyone should look in the same direction, agree with the goals and objectives of the AK – only then can you safely disband the AK...
2 Cash – no offense, okay? :) I'm also not suitable for the AK – I'm too intolerant and hot-tempered, I think...
Wise words. After this situation, I came to the conclusion that structures like the Arbitration Committee (AK) are not needed by anyone. If there is a fair judge and organizer, then no arbitration bodies are needed. What did the AK's lawlessness lead to? Someone rightly wrote here that the AK should consist of people who share the same views. And that's how they vote for the AK, consisting of people who share the same views. Therefore, those who look in different directions will not feel comfortable here. And we have seen many times in history what happens when everyone looks in the same direction.
2 Catch.
That's all true, but AK is needed. Otherwise, it will be like in real life - whoever is stronger and more arrogant is right. A player differs from an ordinary forum user by having a heightened sense of militancy. Multiply this by sharp intelligence, and you get a volatile mixture. Even if he is wrong, he will defend his position to the end, as he is used to pulling off difficult situations in the game. And if you give this person power, then under certain circumstances, he might destroy the forum.
Therefore, there cannot be many people who are capable of working usefully in a representative body of players. On the one hand, it is necessary to have solid authority so that they are listened to, and on the other hand, to put the interests of the forum above personal ones, much higher.
Well, if the forum leaders pull in different directions, then that's not good either. Portal, Wings, they fought on the League and on the Bay, but nothing good came of it in the end.
The ideal assessment of the Arbitration Committee's work: like judges on a football field: when you don't hear or see it, it's as if it doesn't exist. At least, if you don't pay close attention.:)
