In the early stages of the game, it's better to play as Nazir (Fireball) or Narhiz (+Magic). Sometimes you need to play against demons, as cursed imps drain all your mana in 3-4 turns!!!
And it's also cool to play as Jalib!
He can redirect enemy magic back at them!:smile17: :smile17: :smile31:

Question: Does Nura significantly restore mana? I don't have the game on hand and can't check myself.

It all depends on who you're playing against! But I like the hero with Mirror better (forgot his name)!

Well, then, probably the strongest hero is Ora; she has very high attack speed.
When playing against a Warlock with a standard Chaos build, focusing on Lucky Charm and magic boosters (Amulet of Frozen Souls, Phoenix Feather Cape), it's best to forget about Jalib and remove him from the list of potential starting heroes for the Academy. I'll immediately clarify that I'm talking about a sensible opponent – the AI and a human player playing as the Shadow League for the first time don't count. Jalib's special ability, at high hero levels, will almost certainly redirect a targeted spell like Earth Shock or Ice Block onto the Warlock's army, but it's completely useless against area-of-effect spells like Ring of Cold, Fireball, and Meteor Shower.
Besides, Magic Mirror is available to all Academy heroes; it's just more effective with Jalib, so the Warlock is better off not risking his army and voluntarily giving up targeted spells in favor of area-of-effect spells.
Forgive me, Warlocks, but against Mages at the later stages of the game, with their powerful spells (knowledge 30-40), you won't have time to make a move. I played as Razazak (Golem Creator) against a human hero, and our armies were roughly equal (he had the Tear of Ashtar, artifacts that break magic resistance, etc.), but my 500 golems (380+120 joined, and the entire army from the beginning of the game had barely taken any losses when capturing castles and fighting with companion heroes) simply overwhelmed the enemy in the final battle; he only managed to cast 2 spells!!!
Forgive me, but Warlocks don't prolong the game... Their time is 4-6 weeks.
Yeah, at level 20, she has an initiative of 11. All her rate of fire comes from Sorcery, and the specialization isn't that noticeable as you develop her. But she has ranged attack and Arcane Knowledge, which is pretty good, but I like Nura more. Of course, there's also Hafiz, but, like any "machine gunner," it's better not to get too used to playing him. There's too much of an advantage at the start, plus the gremlins.
That can't be. I must be confusing something, but I don't think I leveled up her Sorcery, and she was shooting every five seconds (figuratively speaking, of course))).

That can't be. I must be mistaken, but I don't think I upgraded her spellcasting skills, and she was attacking every five seconds (figuratively speaking, of course).

Yes, the Warlock is the strongest faction in the early stages of the game, but if you play on an XL map, clearing it, then Wizards will completely crush the Warlocks!
And on an XL map, you can reach the enemy within a month. And if you're talking about parties where you "level up for 3 months and then fight the main hero," that's not really playing the game.
On the other hand, on large maps, you can focus on mentoring and you'll end up with a 30th-level main hero and 7 20th-level and one 28th-level characters. So you'll be quite surprised.
The main thing is to think more strategically, and not just meet in one battle and decide everything there.

Yes, you are right, but I was talking specifically about the game tactic of clearing the map and the final battle (for example, when playing with a friend)!
I already answered this in the same post.

And it's not worth using such arguments to talk about the weakness of a particular faction.
And this is not a "tactic" because, on the contrary, it only eliminates the individual possibilities of each faction.
