Please accept my apologies, I will try to do it either tomorrow morning or Friday evening.
Thank you! I will be waiting.
AndyUK,
2. The probabilities of skill drops are defined in the data.pak/GameMechanics/RefTables/HeroClass.xdb file. Find the section with the desired race ID and look for the lines in AttributeProbs.
3. In the hero file (AdvMapHeroShared, place the hero on the map, and look in the properties for the path to the file in the Shared field), you can set the desired skill in the Editable/Skills or Perks field. If you're talking about the skill wheel, you need to find both skills in GameMechanics/RefTables/Skill.xdb and swap their IDs (this will swap the skills).
4. In the advanced map editor (instructions in the map-making section), find the AdvMapDesc table, and through it, the desired mission (in the Maps/Scenario/MissionNumber folders). Open the mission with a double click, select the desired city on the map, and press the spacebar - this will open the properties window. From there, it should be obvious.
5. Creature levels can be quickly changed in the advanced map editor in the Creature table. In the properties, look for the CreatureTier line. Then, in the TownBuildingSharedStats table (in the data.pak/GameMechanics/TownBuildingSharedStats/RaceName folders), select the corresponding dwelling file for both creatures being modified and swap the IDs in the Creature lines, or simply swap the contents of the files.
Thank you very much! It's a pity that it won't be possible to change the abilities. I'll try the rest. I hope it works out.
I need help resolving an issue.
I created an option to add to the menu, similar to the combat log. In the (WindowTextView) file, there's a "TextFileRef" line with a link to a text file. I placed a large amount of text in this text file. The text is displayed in the option, but the scrollbar for scrolling through the text doesn't work. It's displayed, but it doesn't recognize that the text is larger than what's visible.
Double-check the link hierarchy and ensure all links are specified within the WindowScrollableContainer, and that the WindowScrollableContainer itself is linked within the WindowSimpleShared.
In WindowScrollableContainer, there's only one link at the top pointing to its Shared. In WindowScrollableContainerShared, there are two links at the bottom: one to ScrollBar and one to Border.
In WindowSimpleShared, there are links to WindowScrollableContainer and WindowTextView.
I've been checking dozens of times for several days now, and all the paths seem to be correct, as everything is displayed except for the slider on the scrollbar. But, if you hover the cursor over the scrollbar, it changes, as if everything is normal there.
In WindowScrollableContainer, there's only a link at the top to its Shared. In WindowScrollableContainerShared, at the bottom, there are two links: to ScrollBar and to Border.

I saw the message in my inbox (I was busy at work), if you're not claiming intellectual property, then we can try to solve the problem here. Send what you have, I'll take a look. If I can't help, maybe someone else will. It's often better to solve problems collectively!
It seems like nothing will come of it, because all the WindowScrollableContainer names, which are used to scroll any list, are embedded in the EXE file, and the game simply doesn't understand what it needs to scroll.
That's a shame. It means the mod won't be possible. Thank you for looking into it.
