AllCampaignsRemastered - Updated mod for all Campaigns
Steam has Russian language, if that doesn't help, you can try installing a Russification mod from the manuals. Personally, I haven't had such issues.
I've been on Steam for years) I don't have that, I'll show a screenshot when I get home) Not a single Russification mod works, I tried about 4-5 different ones yesterday, same problem everywhere — only commas are displayed, and everything else is in English. Maybe it's just that the update to add Russian language hasn't reached me in this game.
Then I recommend deleting all files related to Heroes in your documents, profiles and all that. Verify the integrity of the game files, check if automatic updates are allowed, and as a last resort, reinstall the game. Possibly some file conflict from the community version (if you had one), but if you didn't, then I don't even know the cause.
Yes, I'll try that, no, I didn't have the community version, I just decided to revisit it after 12 years, stumbled upon the manuals, downloaded them, and it didn't work, so here I am after two hours of struggle, I'll try following your advice.
Looks like the issue is with the КЗ account — I have a RU account and the Russian language is present. As a last resort, download the community version and transfer all files to the Steam version, maybe it will work. Also, a strange thing — why won't the Russifier install, either it's an incorrect installation or who knows.
You don't even need to move all the files — just copy the a2p1-texts and texts files from Data. From the pirated version to the Steam one.
Better to move all files from Data, I forgot that the Russian voiceovers will be there too.
I googled it, and yeah, КЗ accounts don't have the Russian language selection line, but on a Russian account it's there. Well, that's just Ubisoft being sloppy — they forgot to add Russian not only to the Russian region.
If it works out, we'll need to disable automatic updates, because if they decide to update the game on Steam, all these fixes will be wiped out.
Something broke for me in A2C1M1 Ornela stopped raising the dead, she fled the battlefield and the game didn't end, and I could upgrade buildings without the witch's quest(

Just checked it on my end, everything's fine, and nothing broke during tests. What other mods do you have installed? Possibly a mod that unlocks all heroes?

Found the mod that broke everything; it didn't touch the heroes.
It was a base for a mod on ncf+naf+hero classes+AIadv.
I'm used to ncf core working fine with the standard engine, but here it needs to be launched from the patched one.
I don't remember if I posted before, but this is a very good, labor-intensive collection of fixes and a fresh version of the campaigns. A very important mod for Heroes 5, without which comfortable gameplay is impossible to imagine.
Added cutscenes from the original game (Wedding and Finale)
Russian voiceover for cutscenes and original videos are now located in the All_campaignsR.media folder, which simply needs to be placed in UserMODs
Fixed the description of the Ring of the Shadowbranded, and it is now given to Railag in C4M2 and carries over to subsequent missions
Fixed the model of the Guardian of Law to Ilaya in cutscenes C4M1, C4M2, C4M3
Fixed the model of Faidaen in the second cutscene of C5M3 in the last sentence (it was the model of a standard elf hero)
Fixed the model of Galan in the last cutscene of C6M2 to Death Dancer
I wanted to increase the size of the original cutscenes, but it didn't work. Any increase or decrease in size caused the game to crash, although the audio track can be extracted. They use prehistoric Theora and Vorbis codecs; apparently, modern codec editing breaks everything. Stretching the VideoPlayer screen also doesn't help; the cutscenes are too small.

I managed to do it this way.
That turned out great, thanks Moonst@r for the fix. Re-uploaded the archive.

I set it to 1440x900, and the video now fills the entire screen. Maybe this will look better. The intro videos are also bigger now.

Set it to 1440x900, the video became full screen. Maybe this will be better. The starting videos also became larger.
Full screen seems even better, thanks again. Though I don't know how it will look at higher resolutions. Re-uploaded the archive.
