Why did she hit Ging with a regular attack when she should have been taking down Tarantas with dirty panties?
In the end, we lost Alex and didn't take anyone down in the round.
Because of the stats. Nelia has a 38% chance to hit Tarantos, considering his mega-dodge. Arandor's Horn seemed more reliable. If you can actually dodge that, then maybe it was worth it. But if you can't, it would have been an unjustified waste of AP when she's one of our best weapons against Whitecalm.
My mistake was different: I should have placed Axel north of Ging, not south, but I realized this fact too late, and it came back to bite us. The odds of taking down the giant seemed too high when I should have acted more cautiously.

But if not, it would have been an unjustified waste of AP when she's already one of our best weapons against Whitecalm.

Nelia has a 28% chance to hit Tarantos. And Ging is still alive thanks to our beloved Arandor... I don't remember how many times crits didn't proc during the brawl because of the curse, but it's already a lot. Including on Ging... I clearly remember that the freezer survived Axel's shot thanks to the curse. Otherwise the crit would have landed and Orvald's kick wouldn't have been needed.
that's if you count the curse on top of the crit, but if it's the other way around, then it's not because of the curse. you need to randomize better honestly

Didn't quite get that...🤔 I roll from 1 to 100. Let's say Axel has a 24% crit chance. With the curse, it's 14%. The roll comes up 21 (conditionally, I don't exactly remember what number it rolled back then). The crit didn't land. But if there were no curse, it would have landed.
Ничто не возникает из ничего и ничто не пропадает бесследно. Если где-то чего-то убудет, то в другом месте добавится. (Закон сохранения).
There's a -10% curse, and there's a 24% crit, which ultimately gives 14%. You rolled a 21, and if the crit had been upgraded by another +7%, it would have been fine. So it turns out the upgrade let you down 🤓
