Sacred Haven of Debauchery Auto-translated

If there are such people among the players, then I no longer communicate with these forum users.

or out of fear?

Due to the great love and admiration for the Empress.

Read from here.

Actually, the messages in this thread don't convey the atmosphere in the chats very well, like how we agreed on the order, who goes after whom, how I was afraid that my character would get bad luck due to the curse and be shot for accidentally touching the empress, and so on.

Well, I wasn't in the chats, so unfortunately, I don't know the details.

By the way, one of those quests could be easily completed in retrospect, almost on autopilot. It's something like a branching path, but with a clear abyss visible after just one turn. It's not a "snowball" challenge that you necessarily have to undertake; it's a literal choice between "giving up on the game" and "continuing the game." Moreover, I'm not considering role-playing or personal feelings towards the NPC, whom I'm not criticizing; it's just that, for the reasons mentioned above, it seemed to me that even one's opinion about the character didn't matter there. Perhaps the intention was to show how people are willing to forget about pride and dignity to save their lives, but for me, it was more about "how to play according to the given rules in a way that doesn't result in the character's demise."

Didn't get enough end-of-level rewards in school-based adventure games?

Perhaps the point was to show how people are willing to forget about pride and dignity in order to save their lives.

If we continue to reason on this topic, Revan gave us a lot to think about during this event. I often wondered – why did the Germans continue to fight in 1945, when it was obvious that everything was already over? Okay, let's assume Hitler was crazy, and his generals were afraid of him, but why did ordinary soldiers continue to fight? And one of the answers I found is the feeling of camaraderie and brotherhood. Indeed, people have been through many battles together, and they have faced death many times, so how can they surrender now? Because if you surrender, it means that your comrades will fight and die without you. The only way out is to surrender collectively, all together, but this does not happen very often. So ordinary people continued to fight for their comrades.
Transferring this to the current example, even if someone wanted to spit in Rinze's face, they wouldn't do it in order not to let down the other players and not weaken the party (this is not about me, by the way, but in general).

I consider this event to be one of the best in my entire expeditionary career. It involved so many intertwined elements: the conflict between the characters' worldviews and reality, pride, patriotism, loyalty, despair, a sense of fear, humiliation, admiration, and much more – the situation was the same for everyone, but the intensity of the emotions depended solely on the characters' personalities, their views, and their beliefs.

Once is not enough...
They would definitely order more than just a kiss as punishment for refusal.

And I think that the goblin event was the best of all my experiences.

I enjoyed the event from the perspective of the gameplay itself, for the reasons mentioned above, but it also made me nervous, as other players described. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

I think the goblin event was the best of all my experiences.

Which goblin?

That fruit of love between Sheogorath and Kyu from the celestial archives, if I understood correctly.
Read from here, basically.

I was waiting for someone to show some courage, not just talk about it, and politely decline the roleplay offer, revealing that they simply didn't receive the gift. But simultaneously accepting the gift and justifying it with a fabricated story about being forced to do so turned out to be the best approach:cool:
