Here's a Chinese tactic for taking Cyclopean Ruins using two fire walls and a bunch of sprites.
Just like chess:)
Precise calculation and... the computer doesn't stand a chance.

Here's another one, I haven't compared them.
I decided to take this damn Chinese map seriously.
I'll be writing about it; maybe someone will find it interesting.
Here's a life hack for difficult maps (maybe some people don't know it).
I also use it for the Wizard hero, Eyne, in the snow.
Everything is calculated precisely here. Even though the computer that's chasing us is faster, we'll still manage to escape. There's an interesting trick here.
On the second day, (the Nags break through on the VERY last turn, the computer positions itself right next to us), after the Nags, we fight near the resource flag, visiting it after each battle. At the end of the turn, we turn towards the boots, manage to grab the Giant in the hidden spot, then defeat the monks and angels (don't take the Gremlin near the boots; engage in battle with it so we can visit the resource flag again), and either on the last turn or the first turn of the next day (it always worked out for me), we open the passage.
You don't need to be afraid of the computer; after turning towards the Giant's hidden spot, it stays there for some reason. Permanently.

About the Moon.
......
As far as I understand from my tests, in the snow, you need to generate the right save (which can also be checked with cheats to level up the hero). The right one is the one where the Pathfinding skill reaches expert as quickly as possible. Then the hero can transport troops through the snow and still make it everywhere. The enemy Deessa doesn't move because she can't reach us, as we've passed the Titans (a trick based on the rules of the order of neutral attacks), attacking the monks, and Deessa won't be able to do that anymore. I used the same trick on the Jedi Counterattack map, where we also ran away from the same Deessa.
With the Moon, I tested passing it in 3 days in the same way. Here, too, it's desirable to generate a good starting save, where, in my opinion, on the 2nd day, we will definitely have an expert-level log. Then everything also works out.
I conclude that generating the right starting save is intended here. You can do it without it, but it will waste time, which is important on this map.
Write about your successes; this map is definitely very difficult.
What, in my opinion, should definitely be included.
Well, Earth. That's a must-have.
Tactics! Water Magic. Because both for Luna and for Zydar, there are both skills related to this spell and troops that need to be neutralized by an expert in forgetfulness.
For Zydar (in my opinion), resistance is needed. It turns out that it doesn't drop for Elementals (what a fool I am).
The last one for Luna was Magic, I decided to keep it.
In general, I managed to free Hegg and kill two Barbarians behind the red barrier before reaching the maximum.
With Zydar, I managed to get Armageddon, take the Explosion spell, free the upper Inferno Castle, and capture the neighboring one from the Mage.
But I couldn't defeat Fafnir.
Apparently, I was doing everything too slowly.
Now I'm playing with Luna. At first, I didn't manage to get the breastplate from the Cyclops, so I had to go back. Now everything is neck and neck.
Zydar (freed from the Dungeon) is already resting in his native Castle on the 6th day of the first week.

I think it's better to give troops at the start. After checking them, you can simply dismiss them without rewriting the map again, returning the hero to his inflated stats.
In my opinion, this is more convenient.

Regarding Luna. When Luna reaches the Castle of Elementals, she will have 3 Angels (and maybe a few Fairies).
Be sure to buy Fairies in the Castle and take them with you.
Forget about reducing movement, without Fairies, it's a disaster.
I still can't get over the excitement of mastering new techniques after reading your post about the Fire Wall. I'm talking about the technique that essentially sets the trajectory for neutral creatures. And thanks to this technique, I've seriously reevaluated the value of the Mine spell. I tried 2 test battles with expert-level Mines at Cold Power 4. Army - 2 Efreet and 7 Imps. Battle 1 - 15 Gnomes. Battle 2 - 5 Naga units of 2 each. Both battles were won, all 16 mines exploded. In Battle 1, both Efreet survived, in Battle 2, only 1 Efreet survived.

The Fire Wall is also good because it has no resistances. It works great against Gnomes, for example.
It's interesting to watch when, for example, three or four units walk in a row across three squares of fire.
By the way, when using the Fire Wall, it's often better not to use Slow. The turn length is reduced, and in one turn, the enemy unit doesn't have time to pass through all three squares at once or gets stuck halfway, blocking the path for other "kamikaze" units.

Gnomes are also not resistant to mines. But Golems seem to be resistant. So, they are probably resistant to the Fire Wall as well.

Can you show a video of them walking across 3 cells of the wall?

Can you show a video of them moving through walls in 3 cells?
Well, I drove golems through the wall, and didn't notice any resistance. But maybe golems have a natural resistance to mines? After all, it's "their" magic, right?
I don't know how to make videos, but briefly:
For example, against wild units, especially two-hex units.
If the terrain allows (for example, islands in the center of the map).
The fire wall is placed so that it kind of surrounds this island or peninsula.
And if, for example, units are on top and you are below the island, then they naturally rush through the shortest path, diligently passing through all three cells of fire.
It works great for trolling crystal dragons like that :) They resist it sometimes.
But here, four units in a row, each passing through three cells.
And you can also use wait to place TWO walls in this place at once.
Two-hex units will have a hard time. The damage will be DOUBLE.
Here, four squads are lined up one after another, each occupying three cells.
And you can also use a wait action to place TWO walls in this spot at once.
It will be tough for a two-hex unit there. The damage will be DOUBLED.
And here, two walls in one place - that's also quite interesting. I need to check if that's possible...
